Wrap up of the E3 wrap ups

A week has flown by since E3 and some sites are starting to publish their afterthoughts. Over at Opposable Thumbs Ben Kuchera has a detailed set of reflections. He was telling me how awesome Stranglehold and I passed it up to get some extra Harvest Moon coverage. It’s on the top of his five favorite things at E3 and the press conferences are on the bottom five. The E3 postmortem also has some in depth analysis of the big three press conferences.

Fellow Gamasutra writer Jason Dobson has a wrap up posted on Snackbar Games. High notes in his mind were a swell looking Trauma Center syringe pen and the Killzone 2 party. It seems odd to mention the pen as the best swag of E3, but there wasn’t too much passed around.

Speaking of swag I brought back some for our European readers, two copies of Big Brain Academy for Wii. After seeing all the complaints about not opening up a contest for our PAL readers, I thought I would experiment with a contest specifically for them. There aren’t many entries yet, so if you’ve been procrastinating don’t forget to enter before Sunday.
