A series that has been absent from Nintendo consoles for five years is making its return. 2K Games will be bringing WWE 2K18 to the Nintendo Switch. It does not have a launch date, but the press release says it will arrive in Autumn 2017. Prior to WWE 2K18, the last WWE game to appear on a Nintendo console was WWE ‘13 on the Nintendo Wii in 2012.

Seth Rollins, the wrestler that will appear on this year’s cover, made the announcement in a video. During the reveal, he notes that this came after fan requests. The press release states the Nintendo Switch version will have the MyCareer experience with free-roaming backstage opportunities and the chance to work with other WWE Superstars for events. Road to Glory, where you compete online with your MyPlayer, will be available. Also, the Custom Match option will be present, as well as eight man matches.

WWE 2K18 will come to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 13, 2017.
