Tactical, squad-based combat game Tales from the Void puts players in command of a World War I sub’s crew that has found themselves lost in space after a failed experiment.
Players will have to tangle with the effects of low gravity as they give commands to their marines, but they can pause combat at any time to carefully plan their next attack. Each marine can also be customized to the player’s liking, but should they die while exploring or fighting, they will be permanently gone.
Despite its B-Movie humor, air and supplies are a constant, serious issue in Tales from the Void. Players will need to continually collect supplies from completing the game’s semi-random mission selection, slowly collecting enough equipment to get the crew back home.
