Xbox One Launches In Japan, Consoles Include 6 Month Gold Membership

    image Xbox One is just making its way around Asia starting with a launch in Japan. The system is available now with four different packages:

     

    Xbox One with no games for 39,980 yen

    Xbox One with Kinect and Dance Central Spotlight for 49,980 yen

    Xbox One with Titanfall for 39,980 yen

    Xbox One Day One Edition with Kinect, Titanfall, Kinect Sports Rivals, and Dance Central Spotlight for 49,980 yen

     

    Microsoft also announced a promotion where if you buy an Xbox One console before the end of 2014 you’ll get six months of Xbox Live Gold as a bonus. While Microsoft is preparing local games for the China launch, the Japan launch has roughly the same launch titles as the West. Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5, Killer Instinct, and Titanfall are some of the launch highlights in Japan. D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die from Deadly Premonition creator Swery65 is slated for release later this year.

     

    Konami also announced a promotion in Japan where Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes for Xbox One is just 980 yen from today until September 21.
