At the end of Nintendo’s Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Nintendo Direct, add-ons for both this game and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild were revealed. It turns out there will be a free dual audio DLC and a paid expansion pack with five add-ons released for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and one free quest for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s Xenoblade Chronicles 2 DLC will arrive first. On November 9, 2017, people will be able to get a new quest to get an additional outfit for Link. When he wears it, he will look like Rex, the hero of the upcoming RPG.

The free voice acting pack will be the second add-on released. It will be available on December 1, 2017 for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. This will allow people to choose between the English and Japanese voices.

Finally, the $29.99 Xenoblade Chronicles 2 expansion pass add-ons will begin rolling out in December 2017. Here is the list of what will be available and their general timeframes.

  • December 2017: Support Items for Your Journey
  • January 2018: New Quests for the Main Game
  • Spring 2018: New Rare Blade
  • Summer 2018: New Challenge Battle Mode
  • Autumn 2018: A Brand-New Story and Adventure

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will come to the Nintendo Switch on December 1, 2017.
