Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s Button Challenge System Will Let You Time Special Attacks For More Damage

Nintendo recently shared some new footage for the upcoming Switch RPG, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, with a look at its “Button Challenge” system used to time special attacks for added damage.

When a Blade pulls off a special move, a “Button Challenge” can activate. When it does, you can press a button in timely manner to increase the damage output. Furthermore, a mysterious narrator’s voice (CV: Kentaro Tone) can also be heard to hype up the attack boost.   Xenoblade Chronicles 2 releases on December 1, 2017 for Nintendo Switch.
