XS Games swipes Commando: Steel Disaster

After the Red Star, budget publisher XS Games has been silent. Rumors have been swirling about a Nintendo Wii port, but the first concrete new about the New York based XS Games comes from Europe. Lexicon Entertainment is working with them to bring Commando: Steel Disaster (aka: that Metal Slug clone from the UK) to North America. Clone or not, Commando: Steel Disaster doesn’t look half bad and I’m glad I won’t have to pay over $60 to import it. Yes, exchanging pounds to dollars doubles the £29.99.

XS Games will release Commando: Steel Disaster in the third quarter of this year. No price point has been announced, but XS Games usually dabbles in the sub-$20 range.
