Yakuza 0’s Latest Trailer Focuses On Goro Before He Was The Mad Dog

When it comes to certain Yakuza character, we’re accustomed to their filling certain roles and behaving in specific ways. Yakuza 0 challenges that perception by showing us Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima in their youth, when both were active yakuza. In the case of Goro, he isn’t the wildcard Mad Dog we expect, as he’s attempting to make amends and find his way into the Tojo Clan’s good graces after an incident.

In the latest Yakuza 0 trailer, we get to see how Goro handles the new task his handler has assigned, after he’s spectacularly succeeded at running the Grand Cabaret. His new task is to perform his first hit, and we get to see how he reacts to such news.

Yakuza 0 will come to the PlayStation 4 on January 24, 2017.
