During the Sega Fes 2016, we got a bunch of new footage for Yakuza 6, with a look at the game’s Clan Creator mode, some baseball,and plenty of sub-story gameplay.
Clan Creator is basically an RTS feature that lets you have Kiryu as a leader of a clan with plenty of allies to take out enemies of the evil JUSTIS organization in giant battles. In this mode, you’ll need to command allies that come in “Gangster” and “Boss” classes, with the Gangsters being like the Zergs with low battle power but also low cost so you can have a bunch of them.
These Gangsters come in different varieties, which include balanced types, long-ranged attackers, bomb-users, attackers, and tanks. Meanwhile, the Boss-class characters are extremely strong, but you can only have one out at a time.
The Clan Creator actually has a lot more going for it than your usual mini-game, as it has its own set of main missions and sub-missions, too. These can be found in both Kamurocho and Onomichi Jingaicho, and they’ll have their own stories for both areas.
The next video starts us out near the sea in Onomichi Jingaicho, where we get a look at some sub-story gameplay, followed by some baseball gameplay, and more.
Yakuza 6 releases in Japan on December 8, 2016 for PlayStation 4.
