Yakuza Like a Dragon PlayStation 5 Release Date

A Yakuza: Like a Dragon PS5 release date was revealed during the Yakuza 15th anniversary celebration stream. Japanese PlayStation 5 users can expect to get their hands on the game on March 2, 2021. The Japanese release will include dual audio, supporting both Japanese and English audio options.

During the broadcast, an assortment of upcoming merchandise was also revealed. This includes a perfume set inspired by Kazuma Kiryu and Ichiban Kasuga that will be sold exclusively through the Japanese retailer Don Quixote. In addition, a character information and series summary book covering all eight mainline games will release on March 19, 2021. The book will cost 3,700 (or approximately $35), and there was no word of a potential translation during the broadcast.

The Yakuza 15th anniversary celebration stream featured numerous guests. This included the likes of series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi and Takaya Kuroda (Kazuma Kiryu). The stream involved a series playthrough, including games like Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza 0, and other entries staring former series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu. Yakuza: Like a Dragon is immediately available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Yakuza: Like a Dragon will arrive on the PlayStation 5 worldwide on March 2, 2021.
