The first new detail is for the kart-racing mini-game “Dragon Kart” which will have a Kamurocho course. Next, the magazine shared details on the smartphone selfies. This comes with various features including filters and decorations. There’s also some sort of yakuza crest-collecting element but no further details on that.

Lastly, the magazine talks about the “Nigi-Nigi” feature. Much like the sacred technique Puff-Puff from Dragon Quest, you’ll find girls in town called “Nigi-Nigi Girls” who’ll give you a nigi-nigi for 50,000 yen. To give you a better idea, the word comes from the verb “nigiru” which means to grasp or grip.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon releases for PlayStation 4 in Japan on January 16, 2020. The game releases in North America and Europe in 2020 with a possible English dub. Check our previous report for a look at Kiryu, Majima, Saejima, and their battle styles.
