Japan’s video game bible and Capcom partnered to add a special weapon to Monster Hunter Tri. Online players, hunter rank 18 or higher, can grab the Brain Fox.

This item is part of a Famitsu event called Famitsu: Clash of the Great Axes and Giant Spears. The quest yields rare materials, which can be used to create the Brain Fox. You can only participate on the quest during specific dates ranging from tomorrow to January 2010.

No word if Capcom will extend the quest overseas when Monster Hunter Tri hits the West early next year.
