Yo-kai Watch 3 Video Gives Us A Look Into Its Battle System

Level-5 uploaded the newest video for Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi & Tempura with a look at how the battle system works in the upcoming Nintendo 3DS RPG.

 

As shown in the video above, the Yo-kai will fight freely on their own, but you can also give them orders. You can move the medals on the bottom screen to move the Yo-kai to reposition them. This comes in handy when you want them next to another Yo-kai for benefits. You’ll also get to switch out Yo-kai from the ones that are on the bench.

 

Controlling the Yo-kai Medal with your own hands and out-strategizing your enemies will play a big role in Yo-kai Watch 3.

 

Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi & Tempura will release in Japan on July 16, 2016 for Nintendo 3DS.
