Yooka-Laylee’s Nintendo Switch Version Has Been Delayed

Recommended Videos

Playtonic Games has a Yooka-Laylee update for all the Nintendo Switch owners waiting to play the game. Unfortunately, the game has hit a snag and is experiencing some delays. Issues with Unity are keeping things from running smoothly and need to be addressed.

To be more specific, Playtonic Games noted that it needed to wait for Unity 5.6 to fix some of the problems Yooka-Laylee’s Nintendo Switch build was experiencing. However, even more problems appeared when the Unity update was released. It is only after all of these problems are fixed that the game can be submitted to Nintendo. Once it is submitted, then the developer can start thinking about release dates.

Yooka-Laylee is immediately available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
