For the release of Final Fantasy series official encyclopedia Final Fantasy Memorial Ultimania, French publisher Mana Books created a documentary interviewing former series artist Yoshitaka Amano on his creative process and how he ended up working on Final Fantasy, as well as his current pursuits.

 

In this documentary, named ‘Amano – his universe, on paper’, Amano talks about how he went from working at Tatsunoko Productions to working with Square, and the sort of enjoyment he finds in pursuing fine arts. The full video can be found below:
