Resident Evil 2 demo Nemesis

You Can Hear Resident Evil 3’s Nemesis in the Resident Evil 2 RPD Demo

Yesterday, a new Resident Evil 2 RPD demo was released by Capcom alongside an update that changed the full game’s opening menu a little and added a Jill letter and achievement. Now, people who have spent time with that new trial have discovered quite the Easter egg. A Resident Evil 2 demo Nemesis cameo has appeared!

You don’t get to actually see Nemesis in Resident Evil 2. Rather, this is more about building up the atmosphere. If Leon S. Kennedy walks outside of the Raccoon City Police Department building’s front door and takes a look around, the iconic enemy will make himself known.

Here’s the Resident Evil 2 demo Nemesis cameo. You can clearly hear him saying, “S.T.A.R.S.” To trigger it for yourself, just have Leon head out the police department’s front door and turn right. Then, walk toward the boarded up door.

As for the demo itself, it is now available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in every region.

Resident Evil 2 is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Resident Evil 3 will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3, 2020. It will include the Resident Evil: Resistance asymmetrical, four-versus-one multiplayer experience.
