This is not the first time that Rental819 has had an Evangelion collaboration. The last time it did this was in the Fall 2025, when it allowed people to rent these motorbikes in the Odaiba area. This went viral, so for 2026 it expanded the service area and focused on the stores around airports, which are the starting points of vacations or tours.

You can rent Evangelion-themed motorbikes from Rental819 stores around Japan’s airports from June to December 2026. A new anime series in development, with Yoko Taro of NieR: Automata and Drakengard fame working on the story and script.
