You’ll Be Able To Hold Private Splatfests In Splatoon 2 Ver. 5.0.0 Update Tomorrow

As previously stated, the upcoming Splatoon 2 Ver. 5.0.0 adds the ability to play on Splatfest stages in Private Battle with friends. Nintendo patch notes have revealed that the update will be coming tomorrow, July 31.

Nintendo will also be adding a Splatfest Tee Replica gear, and apart from stages, you will also be able to mix and match Splatfest color combinations whenever you want.

Ver. 5.0.0 is also set to introduce improved versions of two stages  – Shellendorf Institute and New Albacore Hotel. For Shellendorf Institute, the roof is now less high, and the ink lines replaced with sponges. New Albacore Hotel has gotten more walls you can ink, and various other changes.
