Idolm@ster Shiny Festa still puts players in the shoes of a music producer, but instead of managing schedules you tap to the beat of popular Idom@ster tunes. The story begins when you’re invited to the Vacation Island International Music Festival. You bring an idol and fly over to the southern island to enter the festival.
Stage mode is just like a standard rhythm game. Players hit notes to bring in fans, which nets what every record producer wants points money. You can use money to buy items to outfit your idol in a shop. Theater mode lets player view music and anime clips.
Namco Bandai made three different anime opening for Idolm@ster Shiny Festa since there are there versions of the game.
Happy Sound has "Music in the World" with a new song "Vault That Borderline!"
Funky Note has "Music is a friend" with a new song "Visionary."
Groovy Tune has "Music of love" with a new song "edeN."
Idolm@ster Shiny Festa comes out on October 25 for PSP.
