According the latest details in the magazine, the game will have about 9,000 cards to play with, and for the first time it’ll have monsters that appeared in Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS who’ll appear in a video game for the first time.

The game will feature Duelists from across the entire Yu-Gi-Oh! series, from Duel Monsters to VRAINS, with over 100 characters that you can duel. The Story Mode will let you take on various players while following each story from the anime. Online Versus mode lets you play against other players around the world. There’s ranked battles, and rules such as using specific packs for draft duels.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution releases for Nintendo Switch in Japan on April 25, 2019 for 3,000 yen. The game was recently trademarked in the United States, Europe, and South Korea so it shouldn’t be long until we get some kind of announcement. Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
