Hands on Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution

I remember an interview saying that this game would feature a character never before in a Naruto Game, even in Japan. Any word on that?

Most sources, including a Jump article, said this game would have 14 NEW characters. Did they tell you different? Moreover, were the stages the same from EX, or did they modify the GNT3 stages? I will miss the GNT3 Stages

So even if they only have 9 people form CoN3, there aren’t 14 people in GNT 3 or 4 that add to 14.
So that means…………………..

Exlusive characters:

the 1st and Second Hokage could be made. I mean, at least the first, as Yamato is likely to be in EX 2. D3 could be ripping it from the Japanese game before it is even done and giving him a Shodaime coat of Paint

Asuma is realistic because he has a Character model in 3 and 4, helping Ino with her Jutsu. Also, he may be in EX 2, so they could realistically work with Japan and rip it from EX 2 that hasn’t even been released yet

Playable Oboro? Meh
Monkey King Enma? He has a character model, but that isn’t enough to make a playable characters

Initially, D3 stated hat NA would get a character never found in the Japanese version too, so, ……….

1 Thing we know for sure. Itachi’s Tsukuyomi will be censored. They will either use the EX special or turn the “cross” into a board. I hope he will have the Crow Kawamari

That forest backround looked like it was ripped out of EX. How many stages were in EX? This game only has 6? I really wanted to play in that Castle Town where Naruto fights Tsunade, or inside Naruto, or the Uchiha Slaughtered Village. Oh Well

So If I am Right:
Basically, this game will have a huge roster, larger than EX and Clash of Ninja 2.

Just be glad we are getting an EX-like game. This could pretty much be EX with more characters and no Shippuden. Sounds good to me. Especially when we eventually get EX, It will likely have all the character that were in the US revolution games, since they reworked the character models for the Wii in the US, the work they put into it would have them use them in the US EX. So in the end, it will work out for us

Also, If EX 2 is online, It could be likely for us to get Revolution 2 Online.
See? In the shortrun we are making out better, and in the long run, we curbstomp Japan

I hate to crush your hopes, it’s not fourteen new characters it’s 14+ characters total and not all of the characters in GNT3 or GNT2 will be in the Clash of Ninja Revolution.

Also when the word spread about new characters “never before seen in the Clash of Ninja series” I’m pretty sure they meant characters never before seen in the US Clash of
Ninja series, not world exclusives. The focus on developing CON: Revolution is to include as many key characters relevant to the current timeline. While there may not be world exclusive characters, the ougi motions for Orochimaru, Sasuke and Shikamaru will be brand new.

And the stages are not the same as the GNT3 stages. Remember EX and Clash of Ninja Revolution have two stages per battleground, GNT3 only has one. The academy stage is the pretty much the same from EX minus a spoiler.

Only 14+ characters eh? The Jump Article I read siad there would be 14 New characters. But as we all know, most ads suck and are inaccurate. I guess that is why on the Official Naruto Site, Uzumaki Chronicles 2 have 4 player and 23 playable characters.

So not even the whole GNT3 roster? Man, I really wanted to Play as Shino and Tenten. I mean, Tenten even Has a model in EX. Just use that. Granted, it is spoilerish, but she doesn’t do anything in the series to spoil anyway.
Does this mean the team attacks in GNT3 and 4 will not be in this game?

The Ougis will be cool at least. I like how they have some Dynamic Angles.

I swore from somewhere that we were geting an exclusive character not in the Japanese version. Meh, my memory must suck

I know there are only 1 part stages in GNT3, I was wondering if maybe they linked some stages to others and made new 2 part stages

Oh well, Here is hoping for the Full GNT4 roster Revolution 2(maybe Online and Stages too)

Sadly it is only 14+ characters…that alone is the reason why I plan to skip this one. Why oh why couldn’t they just port N:CoN 3/4 to the Wii and work on improving that graphically and fine tuning the gameplay.

@ ryne11 - there are some serious restrictions about spoilers for the Naruto series. They had to take out Tsunade’s head from the mountain in the academy stage. It seems like a minor detail that most people probably wouldn’t notice it, but it had to go. So I doubt that Tenten will be able to wear her new outfit in CON: Revolution. She still might be in the game though. If Clash of Ninja: Revolution sells well you might be surprised what will appear in the next Naruto Wii game… someone on Tomy’s side has big dreams.

@ Soulcaster - CON: Revolution is sort of like GNT 3.5, with better graphics. They are still working on getting as many characters in as possible so hang tight you might be surprised how many actually make it in the game.

Regaurdless, this should still be a real solid game. At least more characters than EX already makes it good. Here is hoping

I just jope they redo some of they voicework and not use recycled sounds from CoN1 and 2

they said it has all the from con2 and 14 new characters thats what i heard.they also said they were going to realease con3 but they changed there minds and made up con revolution.they were going to make a character never realeased in a con not from the con.well we just have to wait and see what they are going to do.we could be surprised so for i like naruto rise of ninja the best

What I think, it still isn’t sure if it will be 14 NEW or 14+ characters total. I mean, the game will be released in the fall of this year. There is still time for the developers to add all the characters from Clash of Ninja 2 and some from number three as well. Either way, if this game doesn’t have all the characters, the second one most definitely will. But as for clash of ninja 3, well I think the only way to get it would be an import and a freeloader.

You know I thought it meant 14+ characters too but a site said that they are not editing to fit spiolers as they are taking CoN 3 and changing it so it will have different stuff and be able to use the Wii remote

I dont know what the hell they are going to do.everybody is talking about the characters ike it is the mosy important thing in a fighting game.well actually it is.but i do think shaking the wii remote to att and combos is weird.

You are right Oblivion, shaking the remote to attack is weird. But this game can be played using the original gamecube controller if playing with the wii remote isn’t your style. I for one prefer the gamecube controller.

Sorry, no word on those new characters yet. You know what I’ve always wondered? How come they never added the sound ninja squad of Dosu, Zaku, and Kin? Were they not important enough to be playable characters in the game? I just hope whoever the new characters are, they are cool ones.

Yeah, it is too bad the Sound squad are all dead, but they could still add them a chracters in this game. Maybe it’s a possibility. It would fill in the 3 empty spots that ryne was talking about. That is asuming the game will have as many characters as he says.

yeah the sound ninjas died but what about oboros team they’re still alive.the sound ninjas and oboros team could be some of the new characters never realeased in a con series.i did see 2 gameplay vids on ign and they showed naruto vs sauke it looks just like con2 but with more things to do.i just hope in this game the specials are more harder to do the con 1 & 2.

the last 3 characters could b anyone. i think 2 are going to be kurenai and asuma. and if u watch those gameplay vids again when sasuke uses lion’s barrage(which looks much better than in CoN 1&2)on the bottom of the screen it shows the motion controls u have to do during the specials. u have to pull them off with precise timing but no clue what happens if u dont

This game is a lot but not as good as the game i’m creating has over 170 characters, 50 stages, 10 story arcs, and 100 missions, so far…

Oblivion- Yeah, the Oboro team would be a good choice also. Especially since there was an Oboro mode where you could fight him in Clash of Ninja 2, but you couldn’y play as him.

Tman- Why do you think that Kurenai and Asuma will be the new Characters?

If you think its interesting just by me saying it’s better then you must be easily swayed, also to prove it, it has over 100 characters, 30 stages, and its website will be realeased in a few years (i’m making it myself)

Oblivion, it may be hard to believe but its the truth, i bought the hardware (incase you didnt know, you can buy hardware on certain sites, it just costs alot of money) and i’m about quarter way finished making the game (i made a proto-type with sucky graphics and no sound that is almost completely finished)

Oblivion - I agree that the four hokages would be great additions. Hopefully the third will be added. You are right about Asuma and Kurenai. They are okay characters but I just don’t see them as great additions as playable characters.

Well to anwser your question Eclipse, I think it will just have Tsunade, Jiriaya and another Character that would not be in most games, for instance Dosu or Zaku, or maybe Enma like suggested by… well, im not going to waist my time looking. As for the theory of the 14 new characters in addition to the ones in CoN2 i think the new ones will be (aside from the allready reavealed new characters)

Oblivion, i disnt say anything about other people, i made it with my money and by myself, ill probably just end up selling them for $ 25-30 with no sound when the people talk. as of now the graphics for the actual game is about the same as ultimate ninja series, and the stages are more like CoN series. It will come out on Wii (wiyh slightly less characters, and stages equipable atks) (yay for you), PS3 , X-Box 360 , PSP (with some less characters, stages, mini games, missions, equipable attacks, RPG story line and story arcs).

Oblivion, actually making a game is easy, if you know how, you just need to use a lot of time. Apperantly you dont know just how much a disk can hold, and a few other things,
i meant they move like the series and NH3 has very good graphics

i actually dont know how much the disk can hold and im not going to waste anything so

im putting it on two disks, i just need to know how to make the memory card read them as one disk, or have the one with VS Duel on it have a cheat code system

Oblivion, first of all, the picture you saw was probably a fake as Masashi Kishimoto hasnt revealed how madara looks, second ive made a few desighns for games and 2 of them are cross overs, one with Naruto, One Piece and DBZ, and the other has them and InuYasha and Bleach, third im 15, fourth let me tell you more about it

Shizune, I don’t get it. Where did you read that on Wikipedia? Wikipedia only has a few characters that are confirmed. Those characters are Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Lee, Neji, Guy, Gaara, Shikamaru, Hinata, Orochimaru, Itachi, and Kisame. So if it is true that this game only has 14 characters, there is only one more spot open for a new character. But now that I see this list, I highly doubt that this game would have such a small roster.

Yeah, Hinata is a Character, and so is Neji. It would be cool if Shizune was a playable character as well, but unless she is one of the never before added in Clash of Ninja series characters, I don’t think she will be in the game. She is playable in Ultimate Ninja 2 though.

o and an other thing on naruto ninja council 3 there a ton of people!!!! and wat i dont get is that they can fit all those people in that little chip and thay cant even fit 14 characters in that huge disc???? some thing is up i think!!!!

I don’t think Cursed seal level two Sasuke will be a character. Yeah Shizune, all the characters you mentioned, should be in the game. I think those characters will be included. If they are, this game will definitely be worth it. As for, W.E.B’s game Oblivion, you shouldn’t pay mind if he is telling the truth or not. We will know if the game he claims to be making is ever released. Shizune, no news today, but you could ask any other questions, and if I know the answers, I would be glad to help out.

Shizune, you are wrong, I know many girls that like Naruto and yes, it does rock. One of the best anime shows I have seen. The Sound Four are cool, but I don’t know if the series will be that far when the game is released. Hopefully.

Yeah, some characters have new ones. Naruto has the Rasengan and I do believe he still has the Uzumaki Barrage. Gaara has the Sand Burial and a half-shukaku attack where he gets inside the dome of sand and a large hand comes out of it to attack. So if they have two specials, it is my guess that all the other characters would have two also.

Hey, Shizune and Oblivion. Hi Kakashi. Shizune, I don’t know much about the other tailed spirits. All I know is, there is a two-tailed cat and a three-tailed water monster. Both of these are caught by the Akatsuki. BEsides that, I know the same as you, Gaara’s Shukaku and Naruto’s fox. The Shippuden characters are cool. Oblivion, you said ot won’t come to the U.S. for 4 to 5 years. So you think the U.S. will show all the filler arcs as well? I was hoping they would show up until the Sasuke Retrieval, then show awakened Hinata and then the last mission they have before Naruto leaves the leaf village. Then Shippuden will arrive in the U.S. sooner.

yea thats wat i was thinking they cant show all the filler arcs i mean comeon well they can atleast show the important ones like the rescue gaara one and the hinata one but the rest come to think of it are not as important lol but the whole 4 to 5 years is not true i did the math naruto came in 05 right well its 07 now and we r about to start the 5 season thats 2 years so even they do show the last filler seasons it will take at least 2 more years and come to think of it some of those seasons are short i saw them so its like 1 and a half years kind of.

You said that they are talking about characters never released in a U.S. CON game, but the possibility still exists that they could add characters that weren’t in the Japanese games. I know it isn’t very likely, but it could happen. Especially since they started the game from scratch. They rebuilt the whole thing. From the stages, to the story and the characters. The only thing they kept from the current Japanese game(GNT EX) was the wii motion controls. There is still time. This game will be released in October, so anything can be changed.

Sasuke/Deidara, There is no complete character list for this game yet. Hi Shizune. Now with 30 characters, more girls will be added. Being a guy doesn’t mean that you can’t say that girl characters are good fighters as well. They are really good. I think that Tsunade and Temari kick butt! But my overall favorite character is Neji with his 64 palms technique and rotation. I also want to ask, does anyone know for sure when this game will be released? You guys, know what I meant, If Sasuke can transform into Sharingan Sasuke, then Kakashi should do the same. But the people who make the game count them as seperate characters, so that is why I did as well. Same thing with Naruto and Fox Naruto. Oblivion, I only have time to come to this site at night, that is why I can’t comment so much. But the time this site gives when I post a comment is always about 3 hours behind from my actual time. What time zone is this site from? I live in the eastern time zone. I also think it is best to not put in the characters until the list is complete. I like Bleach, but I don’t watch it much. Thanks for the site Shizune and I agree, in my opinion, Sasuke swings in a different direction. But Itachi is a whole different story. Can’t wait to see more on the Akatsuki. If anything, they should be the true bad guys in Naruto. I don’t know why they make Orochimaru seem so strong to be killed easily by Sasuke later on.
