Hands on Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution

D3 publisher has a predicament with the Naruto license. Since retailers are cutting back on Gamecube shelf space and the Naruto episodes in Japan are years ahead of the rest of the world, they can no longer rely on localizing Eighting’s Japanese games. Instead Tomy, D3 and Eighting have to work together to develop Naruto games specific to the North America’s timeline. Enter Naruto Clash of Ninja: Revolution, an amalgamation of Naruto: Geiktou Ninja Taisen 3 and Naruto Shippuden: Geiktou Ninja Taisen EX. Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution uses a modified version of Eighting’s recent Naruto Wii game. That means you can hide behind crates and shake the remote to do light attacks. The “twist” is you’re doing all of it with the pre-time skip Naruto cast and the story from Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3.

 

 

Most of the moves in Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution are borrowed from Naruto: Geiktou Ninja Taisen 3, which gives Naruto three ougis and makes Sakura a shuriken throwing kunoichi. Since the game is in development for the Wii, Eighting went back to the drawing board to make new character models and improve the visual effects for Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution. Sauske’s new fireball jutsu looks fantastic and it has a spherical look, sort of like Itachi’s fireball attack in EX. Since Sasuke did not appear in Naruto Shippuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX, Eighting had to make new motion movements for the lion combo. After pressing the down button on the d-pad to start the ougi players have to swing the remote left and right timed with Sasuke’s mid-air kicks.

 

During a chat with Yoshinobu ‘Nobby’ Matsuo, the producer of Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution, it’s clear that there are going to be more characters in the USA Naruto Wii game than the fourteen characters found in Naruto Shippuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX. Fifteen-plus is being touted as the magic number as the development team scrambles to add in additional fighters. So far the following characters have been confirmed to be in Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution:

That leaves at least six unannounced characters, maybe more. It's a fair bet that the development team is going to include characters important to the current arc and the Attack on Konoha story arc. So I wouldn’t be surprised if Jiraiya, Neji and Temari are added to the list in the near future. On top of new characters Tomy is also adding in extra missions not found in Naruto: Geiktou Ninja Taisen 3. For example there is a filler episode in the anime where Team 7 tries to uncover Kakashi’s face behind his mask. In Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution players will get a chance to play a fight inspired by that episode as a bonus mission. I was also told Eighting was working on is cleaning up the four player mode to make it a smother experience. However, the demo was restricted to two players, which means I couldn’t test how far along Eighting was on upping the speed.

    Most sources, including a Jump article, said this game would have 14 NEW characters. Did they tell you different? Moreover, were the stages the same from EX, or did they modify the GNT3 stages? I will miss the GNT3 Stages

    So even if they only have 9 people form CoN3, there aren't 14 people in GNT 3 or 4 that add to 14.

    the 1st and Second Hokage could be made. I mean, at least the first, as Yamato is likely to be in EX 2. D3 could be ripping it from the Japanese game before it is even done and giving him a Shodaime coat of Paint

    Asuma is realistic because he has a Character model in 3 and 4, helping Ino with her Jutsu. Also, he may be in EX 2, so they could realistically work with Japan and rip it from EX 2 that hasn't even been released yet

    Playable Oboro? Meh
    Monkey King Enma? He has a character model, but that isn’t enough to make a playable characters


    Initially, D3 stated hat NA would get a character never found in the Japanese version too, so, ..........

    1 Thing we know for sure. Itachi's Tsukuyomi will be censored. They will either use the EX special or turn the “cross” into a board. I hope he will have the Crow Kawamari

    That forest backround looked like it was ripped out of EX. How many stages were in EX? This game only has 6? I really wanted to play in that Castle Town where Naruto fights Tsunade, or inside Naruto, or the Uchiha Slaughtered Village. Oh Well


    So If I am Right:
    Basically, this game will have a huge roster, larger than EX and Clash of Ninja 2.

    Just be glad we are getting an EX-like game. This could pretty much be EX with more characters and no Shippuden. Sounds good to me. Especially when we eventually get EX, It will likely have all the character that were in the US revolution games, since they reworked the character models for the Wii in the US, the work they put into it would have them use them in the US EX. So in the end, it will work out for us

    Also, If EX 2 is online, It could be likely for us to get Revolution 2 Online.
    See? In the shortrun we are making out better, and in the long run, we curbstomp Japan

  • I hate to crush your hopes, it's not fourteen new characters it's 14+ characters total and not all of the characters in GNT3 or GNT2 will be in the Clash of Ninja Revolution.

    Also when the word spread about new characters "never before seen in the Clash of Ninja series" I'm pretty sure they meant characters never before seen in the US Clash of
    Ninja series, not world exclusives. The focus on developing CON: Revolution is to include as many key characters relevant to the current timeline. While there may not be world exclusive characters, the ougi motions for Orochimaru, Sasuke and Shikamaru will be brand new.

    And the stages are not the same as the GNT3 stages. Remember EX and Clash of Ninja Revolution have two stages per battleground, GNT3 only has one. The academy stage is the pretty much the same from EX minus a spoiler.

    Only 14+ characters eh? The Jump Article I read siad there would be 14 New characters. But as we all know, most ads suck and are inaccurate. I guess that is why on the Official Naruto Site, Uzumaki Chronicles 2 have 4 player and 23 playable characters.

    So not even the whole GNT3 roster? Man, I really wanted to Play as Shino and Tenten. I mean, Tenten even Has a model in EX. Just use that. Granted, it is spoilerish, but she doesn't do anything in the series to spoil anyway.
    Does this mean the team attacks in GNT3 and 4 will not be in this game?

    The Ougis will be cool at least. I like how they have some Dynamic Angles.


    I swore from somewhere that we were geting an exclusive character not in the Japanese version. Meh, my memory must suck


    I know there are only 1 part stages in GNT3, I was wondering if maybe they linked some stages to others and made new 2 part stages


    Oh well, Here is hoping for the Full GNT4 roster Revolution 2(maybe Online and Stages too)
  • Sadly it is only 14+ characters...that alone is the reason why I plan to skip this one. Why oh why couldn't they just port N:CoN 3/4 to the Wii and work on improving that graphically and fine tuning the gameplay.

  • @ ryne11 - there are some serious restrictions about spoilers for the Naruto series. They had to take out Tsunade's head from the mountain in the academy stage. It seems like a minor detail that most people probably wouldn't notice it, but it had to go. So I doubt that Tenten will be able to wear her new outfit in CON: Revolution. She still might be in the game though. If Clash of Ninja: Revolution sells well you might be surprised what will appear in the next Naruto Wii game... someone on Tomy's side has big dreams.

    @ Soulcaster - CON: Revolution is sort of like GNT 3.5, with better graphics. They are still working on getting as many characters in as possible so hang tight you might be surprised how many actually make it in the game.

    Regaurdless, this should still be a real solid game. At least more characters than EX already makes it good. Here is hoping


    I just jope they redo some of they voicework and not use recycled sounds from CoN1 and 2

    they said it has all the from con2 and 14 new characters thats what i heard.they also said they were going to realease con3 but they changed there minds and made up con revolution.they were going to make a character never realeased in a con not from the con.well we just have to wait and see what they are going to do.we could be surprised so for i like naruto rise of ninja the best

    What I think, it still isn't sure if it will be 14 NEW or 14+ characters total. I mean, the game will be released in the fall of this year. There is still time for the developers to add all the characters from Clash of Ninja 2 and some from number three as well. Either way, if this game doesn't have all the characters, the second one most definitely will. But as for clash of ninja 3, well I think the only way to get it would be an import and a freeloader.

    You know I thought it meant 14+ characters too but a site said that they are not editing to fit spiolers as they are taking CoN 3 and changing it so it will have different stuff and be able to use the Wii remote

    You are right Oblivion, shaking the remote to attack is weird. But this game can be played using the original gamecube controller if playing with the wii remote isn't your style. I for one prefer the gamecube controller.

    Sorry, no word on those new characters yet. You know what I've always wondered? How come they never added the sound ninja squad of Dosu, Zaku, and Kin? Were they not important enough to be playable characters in the game? I just hope whoever the new characters are, they are cool ones.

    all the game websites say its coming out in fall but theres no specific date yet.and i think they shouldve put the sound nin in like eclipse said but they probly didnt cuz theydidnt have a very big role in naruto and they cant make any further appeaaarances because they are all dead

    Yeah, it is too bad the Sound squad are all dead, but they could still add them a chracters in this game. Maybe it's a possibility. It would fill in the 3 empty spots that ryne was talking about. That is asuming the game will have as many characters as he says.

    yeah the sound ninjas died but what about oboros team they're still alive.the sound ninjas and oboros team could be some of the new characters never realeased in a con series.i did see 2 gameplay vids on ign and they showed naruto vs sauke it looks just like con2 but with more things to do.i just hope in this game the specials are more harder to do the con 1 & 2.

    the last 3 characters could b anyone. i think 2 are going to be kurenai and asuma. and if u watch those gameplay vids again when sasuke uses lion's barrage(which looks much better than in CoN 1&2)on the bottom of the screen it shows the motion controls u have to do during the specials. u have to pull them off with precise timing but no clue what happens if u dont

    Oblivion- Yeah, the Oboro team would be a good choice also. Especially since there was an Oboro mode where you could fight him in Clash of Ninja 2, but you couldn'y play as him.

    Tman- Why do you think that Kurenai and Asuma will be the new Characters?

    If you think its interesting just by me saying it's better then you must be easily swayed, also to prove it, it has over 100 characters, 30 stages, and its website will be realeased in a few years (i'm making it myself)

    Oblivion, it may be hard to believe but its the truth, i bought the hardware (incase you didnt know, you can buy hardware on certain sites, it just costs alot of money) and i'm about quarter way finished making the game (i made a proto-type with sucky graphics and no sound that is almost completely finished)

    W.E.B. - I am not easily swayed. In fact, when it comes to rating games, I am very rough on them. I was complimenting your idea for a game. What characters do you think will be in this Naruto wii game?

    Oblivion - I agree that the four hokages would be great additions. Hopefully the third will be added. You are right about Asuma and Kurenai. They are okay characters but I just don't see them as great additions as playable characters.

    Well to anwser your question Eclipse, I think it will just have Tsunade, Jiriaya and another Character that would not be in most games, for instance Dosu or Zaku, or maybe Enma like suggested by... well, im not going to waist my time looking. As for the theory of the 14 new characters in addition to the ones in CoN2 i think the new ones will be (aside from the allready reavealed new characters)

    Oblivion, i disnt say anything about other people, i made it with my money and by myself, ill probably just end up selling them for $ 25-30 with no sound when the people talk. as of now the graphics for the actual game is about the same as ultimate ninja series, and the stages are more like CoN series. It will come out on Wii (wiyh slightly less characters, and stages equipable atks) (yay for you), PS3 , X-Box 360 , PSP (with some less characters, stages, mini games, missions, equipable attacks, RPG story line and story arcs).

    Oblivion, actually making a game is easy, if you know how, you just need to use a lot of time. Apperantly you dont know just how much a disk can hold, and a few other things,
    i meant they move like the series and NH3 has very good graphics

    i actually dont know how much the disk can hold and im not going to waste anything so

    im putting it on two disks, i just need to know how to make the memory card read them as one disk, or have the one with VS Duel on it have a cheat code system

    Oblivion, first of all, the picture you saw was probably a fake as Masashi Kishimoto hasnt revealed how madara looks, second ive made a few desighns for games and 2 of them are cross overs, one with Naruto, One Piece and DBZ, and the other has them and InuYasha and Bleach, third im 15, fourth let me tell you more about it

    Shizune, I don't get it. Where did you read that on Wikipedia? Wikipedia only has a few characters that are confirmed. Those characters are Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Lee, Neji, Guy, Gaara, Shikamaru, Hinata, Orochimaru, Itachi, and Kisame. So if it is true that this game only has 14 characters, there is only one more spot open for a new character. But now that I see this list, I highly doubt that this game would have such a small roster.

    Yeah, Hinata is a Character, and so is Neji. It would be cool if Shizune was a playable character as well, but unless she is one of the never before added in Clash of Ninja series characters, I don't think she will be in the game. She is playable in Ultimate Ninja 2 though.

    I don't think Cursed seal level two Sasuke will be a character. Yeah Shizune, all the characters you mentioned, should be in the game. I think those characters will be included. If they are, this game will definitely be worth it. As for, W.E.B's game Oblivion, you shouldn't pay mind if he is telling the truth or not. We will know if the game he claims to be making is ever released. Shizune, no news today, but you could ask any other questions, and if I know the answers, I would be glad to help out.

    Yeah, some characters have new ones. Naruto has the Rasengan and I do believe he still has the Uzumaki Barrage. Gaara has the Sand Burial and a half-shukaku attack where he gets inside the dome of sand and a large hand comes out of it to attack. So if they have two specials, it is my guess that all the other characters would have two also.

    Hey, Shizune and Oblivion. Hi Kakashi. Shizune, I don't know much about the other tailed spirits. All I know is, there is a two-tailed cat and a three-tailed water monster. Both of these are caught by the Akatsuki. BEsides that, I know the same as you, Gaara's Shukaku and Naruto's fox. The Shippuden characters are cool. Oblivion, you said ot won't come to the U.S. for 4 to 5 years. So you think the U.S. will show all the filler arcs as well? I was hoping they would show up until the Sasuke Retrieval, then show awakened Hinata and then the last mission they have before Naruto leaves the leaf village. Then Shippuden will arrive in the U.S. sooner.

    yea thats wat i was thinking they cant show all the filler arcs i mean comeon well they can atleast show the important ones like the rescue gaara one and the hinata one but the rest come to think of it are not as important lol but the whole 4 to 5 years is not true i did the math naruto came in 05 right well its 07 now and we r about to start the 5 season thats 2 years so even they do show the last filler seasons it will take at least 2 more years and come to think of it some of those seasons are short i saw them so its like 1 and a half years kind of. :)

You said that they are talking about characters never released in a U.S. CON game, but the possibility still exists that they could add characters that weren't in the Japanese games. I know it isn't very likely, but it could happen. Especially since they started the game from scratch. They rebuilt the whole thing. From the stages, to the story and the characters. The only thing they kept from the current Japanese game(GNT EX) was the wii motion controls. There is still time. This game will be released in October, so anything can be changed.

    Naruto, Fox Naruto, Sasuke, Sharingan Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Lee, Neji, Guy Sensei, Shikamaru, Hinata, Gaara, Orochimaru, Itachi, and Kisame. But I am assuming, since there is a Sharingan Sasuke, there should be a Sharingan Kakashi. So far that is a total of 16 characters. But more will come.

    Sasuke/Deidara, There is no complete character list for this game yet. Hi Shizune. Now with 30 characters, more girls will be added. Being a guy doesn't mean that you can't say that girl characters are good fighters as well. They are really good. I think that Tsunade and Temari kick butt! But my overall favorite character is Neji with his 64 palms technique and rotation. I also want to ask, does anyone know for sure when this game will be released?     You guys, know what I meant, If Sasuke can transform into Sharingan Sasuke, then Kakashi should do the same. But the people who make the game count them as seperate characters, so that is why I did as well. Same thing with Naruto and Fox Naruto. Oblivion, I only have time to come to this site at night, that is why I can't comment so much. But the time this site gives when I post a comment is always about 3 hours behind from my actual time. What time zone is this site from? I live in the eastern time zone. I also think it is best to not put in the characters until the list is complete. I like Bleach, but I don't watch it much.     Thanks for the site Shizune and I agree, in my opinion, Sasuke swings in a different direction. But Itachi is a whole different story. Can't wait to see more on the Akatsuki. If anything, they should be the true bad guys in Naruto. I don't know why they make Orochimaru seem so strong to be killed easily by Sasuke later on.

    12 and there are destructible items on each stage oh
    remember this is a non-shippuuden version but in english but you might be
    able to switch language

    Yeah, I don't like the Ultimate Ninja games too much either. The Clash of Ninja games are way better in my opinion. I went to this site that said this game will have 16+ characters, but by that the creator meant he just wanted to add 2-4 more new characters and that was it. As for Sasuke/Deidara's Favorite show list, ( If you guys are really hard core Naruto fans, you guys would probably hate me for saying this) but I would have to put Naruto second and Fullmetal Alchemist first. That show ROCKS!!! For third place I would put Deathnote even though I haven't seen much of it. I just read the first two manga comics.

    1.naruto: uzumaki barrage, rasengan, nine-tailed fox slash attack lol and nine-tailed rasengan, and maybe the summoning jutsu

    2.sasuke: lions barrage, chidori, firestyle: pheonix flower jutsu and maybe cs2 sasuke attacks

    3.sakura: cha barrage and maybe a genjutsu

    4.kakashi: lightning blade and maybe that summoning jutsu where he summons his dogs

    5.lee: those inner gates

    6.neji: 8 trigrams 64 palms and 8 trigrams palm rotation

    7.guy: the inner gates i guess i dont really like him

    8.shikamaru: shadow strangle jutsu and i guess the shadow possesion jutsu where he throws bombs at u

    9.gaara: sand funneral thing and the summoning jutsu shukaku

    Sasuke/Deidara, the one you forgot from the sound 5 is kidoumaru. Guys, I think Temari has been confirmed as one of the characters from this game. For the Jutsu's of some of the characters I would guess:

    Sakura: CHA!!! and another stronger CHA combo (I don't like it either but since GNT 3 had it, that is my guess.)

    Tsunade: Super Heel drop and maybe the attack where she stops the enemies muscles from moving them and then punches them into the ground.

    Kakashi: Lighting Blade and Lightning Blade Double strike

    Jiraiya: Ninja Art Toad Summoning and possibly the toad acid combined with the fireball jutsu.

    I know Neji will have 64 palms and rotation, but the rotation is a waste of chakra. It is a cool attack but it shouldn't be considered a jutsu since you could do it in CON 2 by pulling back on the control stick and pressing A just when the anemy was about to strike you. They should put in something different for him like the 128 palms.

    I agree that 12 stages really isn't enough. Stages so far are:
    1. Academy Roof-top
    2. Konoha- in front of Ichiraku Ramen Shop
    3. The Forest of Death
    4. Chunnin Exam 2
    That is all I know. But I am hopping these are there as well:
    - Preliminaries Battle Arena
    - Chunnin Exam 3 Battle Arena
    - Roof of Chunnin 3 Arena

    To me, the characters and quality of the game are equally important. A game can have alot of characters but suck in gameplay and story so you get bored quickly. Equally, If the game has agreat story but few characters you want more characters to be ablt to have even more fun with the game. Without characters, you get bored, bad game quality and your also bored. Good games have enough characters, great story, and very good gameplay.

    and your oponent land and since rasengan and lightning blade end up
    coming out in diferent hands the end is you doing rasengan in the right
    hand and chidori in the left and bang hit the oponent (of course this would
    be if you can make your specials on a customable character that would be cool)
    that would be the best naruto game and it had at least 40 characters on the wii
    that would be the best game ever huh of course i'm not saying it will happen

    Sasori reminds me of Gaara when he isn't in his puppet form. Yeah, 16 just means the least number. Hopefully we can get most of the characters we want in this game. The two girls that fight the best for me are Tsunade and Ino. Tsunade is just so strong, I like her massive strength. And Ino is just so flexible, it feels cool to play as her in clash of ninja. She is like a gymnast, not to mention that I think mind destruction is the best. But she doesn't do that in the game. But all the ninjas have great techniques. Hard to say who would win out of all of them. :-) ( Neji is #1!!!) :-)

    Oblivion, Shizune was the one with the theory about the unamed akatsuki member. And it is a very good theory I might add. If this is true it all would make perfect sense. My best characters in CON2 are Neji, Sharingan Sasuke, Haku and Ino. Rise of Ninja is cool, but I would like to try Uzumaki Chronicles 2. I never played the first Chronicles, but I have heard that it wasn't really good. Do any of you know if this is true?

    This game should have all the characters from GNT 3plus Kisame and possibly Kabuto and Shizune. If this is so then this game would be great because it would have all the characters from Ultimate Ninja 2 but in a better fighting style game. It would also have Shizune who was never in a GNT game in Japan. So this would make it a slightly better game for characters thet Japan never had. Oh Yeah, airoman, I agree, Zaku, Dosu and Kin should be in the game. But isn't likely since they didn't appear between the chunnin arc to Sannin Showdown. Unless they mean Chunnin preliminaries. That would be cool.

    u want to know what really annoys me is that u can do the special so easy and u get the special so fast and u die so easily.y dont they ever make it a little bit harder to do the specials like harder to get the spcial instead of getting a special in 5 seconds just by hitting them u get chakra so fast in the game.y cant they make it harder to die.because if u do the rasengan it takes like almost half of ur life y cant they make way harder to kill them like the specials are not so easy to get and u kill ur enemy sooo fast i hope they fix these things

    Well, Zabuza and Haku might not be there, but it doesn't matter if they are or aren't. It wouldn't be any different anyway. While all the other characters have 2 or 3 specials, Zabuza and Haku would only have one. Iruka and Mizuki weren't that big a deal either. They were basically the same character with a different look. They game will be good either way. I am just glad it will have Itachi, Kisame and Neji.

    I agree, Oblivion. There is no way that Shippuden will come this December and the producers already said that this game would feature the younger Naruto characters. People are just so exited about Shippuden that they don't want to believe that it isn't over here yet. So they fool themselves into thinking something that isn't.

  • Yosh!. ok i just found out that in Ultimate ninja 2 the story lije starts from chunin exams finals and hack and zabuza were still there (i know some 1 already said this but i just wanted to say it :P) ok there arent going to be 9 gennin theres going to be 12 gennin (natuto sasuke sakura neji tenten lee ino chouji shikimaru hinata shino and kiba and of course Temari Gaara and kankuro) well in ultimate ninja 2 they had the third hokage in there but no anko but in con3 they had anko i think they should definetly add them there anyways we cleared the characters that were going to be there (some of them -_-) but now that we know...............WE HAVE TO START WORKING ON HOW MANY STAGES THERES GANNA BE >:(

    One thing I did like about UN2 was that whole story about the Jutsu Gedo Mark Seal. Other than that though, I like CON games better. I think the characters in this game should have more than one life bar. Like in the Dragonball Z Budokai games. The saiyans have 3 or 4 bars. I think 2 would be enough for Naruto. As the game is right now, the Jutsus take away about 1/2 of the life on their own. A couple of more hits and the opponent is defeated. One of you said, (I don't remember who, but i think it was Oblivion) that it was too easy to beat up your opponent. This is true. But with the addition of another life bar, this would make it a little more difficult. Actually, now that I think about it, 3 life bars wouldn't be bad either. What do you say everyone?

    Hi Shizune, good to have you back. ShadowFlames, One-tail Naruto has a question mark next to it on wikipedia. Once I saw a green chack mark, but that was someone screwing around with the site. Yeah, they said it would go to the sannin showdown, but who nows if that could change. It could you know. Like Oblivion said, the sound 5 and CS2 and OTK will be coming out in the show soon. I really don't see the point for the producers to leave out 5 or 6 characters out of this game just to make another game exactly like this one with the only addition being a different story and those few new characters. I mean that is assuming that you guys are all right and the 9 rookies, 3 sannin, and 3 sand gennin are all in this game including the Third Hokage, Orochimaru, Kakashi, Guy and his team and Kisame and Itachi. Also, the stages are few as well. I know it is more like 12 stages than 6, but (maybe I am asking too much) I would say 8 stages that are each connected to another stage to make it a total of 16 would be better. One more thing, What is wrong with Zabuza and Haku? True, Haku looked like a girl but he was actually pretty strong. His only weakness was that he was too soft on his opponents. Zabuza rocked. He and Kisame are like the two best characters there besides Neji and Itachi. I guess it is just me. The hidden myst village has always been my favorite.

    There has to be some better site to look up info on characters and stages other than wikipedia. Anko and Rocks. She should really be in this game. But maybe they would just put the necessary characters for the Chunnin to Sannin Showdown arcs. That would be Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Guy Sensei, Third Hokage, Neji, Shikamaru, Temari, Gaara, Kankurou, Shino, Orochimaru, Kisame, Itachi, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Shizune, and Kabuto. I don't know why though, Ino, Lee and Hinata have been confirmed because they are not important to those story arcs at all. Hopefully new pics will be posted soon like Shizune says.

    Yeah, I bet you're right Shizune. I went to another blog site on this game from google, and they believe that there should be atleast 27-31 characters in this game. But the producers only tell us about 16, but the rest are secret. They will probably be unlockable characters that you will get by completing certain missions in story mode or by getting money to buy them in the shop. Shizune, you are absolutely right.

    Making your own character would be cool. But I highly doubt this game will have that. Maybe a future Naruto game, but I don't think this game will give us that benefit. All four Hokage would be cool also. It would make sense that the First, Second and Third Hokage would be playable since they all fought on that rooftop when Orochimaru interupted the CHunnin Exam 3. Second Hokage all the way!! Water style!!!! Anyway, I think Gamabunta would be a stupid character. How do you play an oversized frog against a tiny ninja? Gamabunta could just step on them and they would die. That is like the option of playing Akamaru and Crow by themselves in CON2. Who wants to do that? I mean, Akamaru is short, so he is a good character because the punches don't land. But why would a dog fight a ninja? Samething with Manda.

    I think Oblivion is right. They are bound to add more characters than just the ones from GNT 3. They already added Kisame who wasn't playable until GNT 4. I think they might add Kabuto as well since he already fought Naruto in the show. So that basically is all the characters because Kisame and Kabuto were the only new ones in GNT 4 other than the sound 5, CS2 Sasuke and OTK Naruto. Deidara and Sasori won't be in this game until we get Shippuden, so we will have to wait a while. Hey ShadowsKiena, why don't you think all the characters will be in this game?

    shadowflames the show is going to fininsh in 2008 or 2009 and it is going to be in november to december its not going to finish january because there is still 122 episodes left and this friday is the 100th and the show started in 2005 it took 2 years to reach the 100th episode they are not going to put another 122 episodes by january or february next year.so the show is probaly going to finish in 2009 and shippuden starts 2010 ot 2009.

    Yeah, there are still 122 episodes of naruto left. But after episode 135, they are all just filler episodes. They are not important to the story line. I don't see why it would suck to skip these episodes since they are not important. I understand that all you guys don't want to miss a single episode of Naruto. But episodes 136 and on are hust random missions that the rookies are given so Naruto and Sakura would keep busy and not go after Sasuke. But then this is all a big waste of time because we all know that Naruto leaves with Jiraiya at the end so he could get stronger to go after Sasuke. So what is the point? The only extra missions I think are somewhat important are Hinata awakened and the last mission, Return the favor to the Sand. I think if we skipped all those episodes of no importance, we could get Shippuden sooner. As for the game, yeah, being delayed would be a good idea. From the Sound 5 I like Kidomaru and Kimimaro.

    yo u guys the thing i hate about naruto is every time there is supposed to be a fight there is not a lot of action all they do is just punch than they talk for min nonstop than thye punch again and keep talking there is no action in the show the only time there is action is when they are fighting the sound 5(except for kimimaro there is not action in that episode because all gaara does is shoot sand) when naruto fight sasuke there is a lot of action they dont talk.thats is what i hate.

    hey remember eclipse u asked me how is sasuke stronger than itachi well the reason i said that is because when sasuke beats naruto the fox told sasuke his chakra is like madara and madara is the leader of akatsuki if sasuke has the same chakra as madara that means sasuke is stronger than itachi well not stronger but has higher chakra and managed to learn the strongest technic of the uchiha clan the susanoo i dont know what it does but it is the strongest one.each techinc has 2 forms one with the regular sharingan and 1 with mangekyou sharingan and sasuke learned the first form of the special.itachi learned all of them.

Even though Itachi kind of asked for it when he murdered the whole Uchiha clan and left Sasuke alive to seek revenge. About the Snow Ninja, are they really that bad at fighting? I haven't seen the movie yet, so I wouldn't know. Don't tell me anything about the movie that will give anything away but Shizune have you seen it? If so do you agree with Oblivion about the Snow Ninja? I want to know so I can know which characters are actually worth mentioning.

    ohhhhhh i have 3 hypothesis about kurenai there was something about her that seems weird here they are:
    1.i think she might have the sharingan because of the red eyes.
    2.this one is the best one i thought of,she has red eyes with a line around her pupil like pein they have the same eyes they could be related or somthing else but they have the same eyes.
    3.this one is stupiud it was just a guess,maybe kurenai is the unamed member she could be wearing a wig and under it could be blue hair

    Why do you hate America? I think we are getting the better deal, if CONR has all the characters we mentioned, then this is a better third Naruto game than CON3 that Japan got. Has the wii remote minigames, interactive environments where you could hit your opponent to another stage. You can also jump over boxes and stumps and use them to your advantage during a match. Who cares if we don't have Naruto Shippuben yet? If CONR is everything, or at least most of what we expected it to be, it is way better than CON3. CON3 didn't even have Kisame. He wasn't inroduced until CON4. But if you want Shippuden EX so badly, why don't you just get a freeloader and import the game?

  • Actually its 21 characters thats been confirmed my friend.Took them a month and a half to add 5 characters i think. yes this game will be good (BUT!!!!!!!!!!) it still doesnt have all characters from CON3. Chouji, Kiba, Sarutobi, Haku, Zabuza, and Anko are not yet confirmed.hmmmm i wonder what the 2 extra stages are? probably the 3 sannin showdown and probably that place where Tsunade Jiraya Shizune and naruto took a bath hopefully >.

    Yeah, tman is right. Kiba was in CON2, so you bet he will be in this game. And they wouldn't complete all the Genin squads and leave out Choji, so Choji should be announced any day now. I would really like Anko to be in the game, but I don't think they will add her since she didn't play any important role in the storyline. But maybe in her place they will put Kabuto. Can't wait to play it.

    Temarii, the sensei you are talking about is named Kurenai. And yes, CON 3 had Anko. But unfortunately, this game isn't likely to have her as a character. I would hope so, because Anko is a cool Kunoichi. We just have to hope for the best, that all the characters we want are in this game.

    By the way, Oblivion. There will probably be a CONR-2 because the show won't reach the sound 5 fights before the release date. Yeah, they will show them, but they won't get to Neji vs Kidoumaru, Lee/ Gaara vs Kimimaro, Shikamaru/ Temari vs Tayuya, Jirobo vs Choji, and Kiba/ Kankuro vs Sakon/ Ukon. They always show the fights before putting them in the game. Most importantly, they won't get to CS2 vs OTK. So CONR-2 will have the sound 5, CS2, OTK, Sand Genin in their second outfits, Awakened Hinata, and hopefully Anko and any other characters that don't make it to this first game. And we don't have to wait a whole year for a new game. CON2 came out after just 6 months of the original Clash of Ninja.

  • what do yall think of the three sound ninja from the chunin exams being in the game? i mean they didnt have a huge role and all but dosu ,kin ,and zaku were really cool and had some cool techniques. like dosu's sound amplifying speakers in his hands, kin was cool but orichimaru kilt her =( her special bells that made the opponent hullucinate and paralyze theyre body making them open to her direct attacks and dont forget about zaku's decapitating wind slices projected from his very self... i think all three are fit to be in the game.

  • ohh and if u listen clearly kakashi says that he was glad he taught sakura genjutsu before the ninja academy finals. she can release them but only to a certain extent . such as ( releasing a sleeping genjutsu which is a low level genjusu anyways) but such as a genjutsu such as something she would find to be real (such as a clay reformation genjutsu) she cannot release . she has learned some genjutsu but i dont think she shouldve been strong enough to use demonic illusion genjutsu thats ridiculous and should only be alowed for jounin

    - She also frequently uses poisoned needles, as seen when she spits them at opponents through Hidden Mouth Needles . or through her wristband hidden under her sleeve

    its called flower technique:district end !!!

The flower petals encircle the enemy and dark smoke fades their surroundings to black, then the flowers spread out and slice back in instantly cutting the enemys vital points allowing them not to move!!! woo! go genjutsu!

    temari where did u find that thing about shizunes special it sounds really cool even.i dont care anyone thinks but to me flowers are cool how people use them in anime but they are almost like sharp objects.they make them cool.but that jutsu for shizune is kinda like byakuya shikai in bleach and like marluxias petal dance from kingdom hearts 2 but shizunes sounds like the colest one of them all.ya shadowflames that was a good thing ya ur right but tsunade is known for big breasts but the others are not but they are still hot.most ANIME GIRLS ARE SEXY!!!!!

  • ohh yesss its quite simple just go to wikipedia and search jutsu's in naruto itll come up in like (A-G) it shows u most of the jutsu's in the show. btu unfortunatley not all of them ohh and to get the latest updates on these kinds of websites u need vista but even without it u can veiw the jutsu's

  • Temarii i read ur post i just dont know anything about it so i dont say much about it sorry.thats not fair con3 would be better then conr becuz it has more stages and more characters.the least this game should have is all the characters from con3 including Anko what a pain in the butt this guy doesnt know what hes doing. he should have just left con3 com out and that would sell even more what the heck is conr?its a game that doesnt have the characters on con3 i dont mind iruka or mizuki out of the game but anko has to be there but theres still time they best put Anko or else. o and i dont see a check mark on Zabuza or haku there not confirmed yet O.o

    OMG! look i found out on wikipedia that in shippuden kurenai is pregnant and asuma is the father of the kid.u know how u see them to togather well they are married i think or they just hit it off but she is going to have a kid in shippuden well i knew they liked each other but it is a shame that hidan kills asuma what a shamethat is y shikamaru got soo mad and kiled hidans body now hidan is just a head lol.but asuma is dead and kurenai is still alive

    Temarii, I like the Sound Genin squad. They are not stupid and they kicked butt. Actually, I had mentioned them before, one of my first comments on this page. If only they weren't working for Orochimaru, they would have been able to show their true powers. But my favorite out of the three was Zaku. Kin was cool also. They would make great additions for this game. Oh and Anko Rocks. Her jutsu is cool for a character that does nothing in the show. She should really be in this game too. Maybe if enough of us ask for her in any CONR blog we find, the producers will see this and add her to the roster. Also Kabuto does not know more about where to target his medical attacks than Tsunade. I mean, Why do you think Tsunade is a Sanin and not Kabuto? In their fight, Kabuto just got lucky because Tsunade still hadn't overcome her fear of blood. If they leave anyone out of this game, it should be Kabuto. I think the first and second hokage should be playable because Orochimaru used the re-animation to make them fight Sarutobi. This fight would be cool in story mode. But, since they never existed in a CON game, it probably will never happen. Oblivion, how fo you know that Haku and Zabuza were confirmed if they still have question marks on wiki?

    Tsunade didn't say that Kabuto knew more than her. She merely said that he was a very skilled ninja to be able to activate so many cells at once. That is a very hard jutsu to do and maintain, even for her. But she didn't say that she couldn't pull it off. We all know Lee gets cured, so obviously she does it. No way Kabuto, the nerd who is oddly very close to Orochimaru (If you get what I mean) can be smarter or surpass the best Kunoichi in the show. The Sanin Tsunade.

    oh well she said it somewhere i heard it in japanese i dont know what episode it was but i swear she said"that he knows more than she does for being the adopted son of the cheif of the medical squad".he is the adopted son of the leader of the medical squad also getting help from the experimental bodys from orochimaru kabuto said that in one episode.tsunade is cool but she is not my favorite favorite but she is one of my favorites.i like shizune too she made her own squad with genma and that other guy with sunglasses because she can't fight like the others because she does not have chakra she only has a little bit only to do like 2 to 3 jutsus.but she is cool.


    if u ask me naruto the movie 4 looks sooo cooler than the fight with sasuke and naruto if u ask me saying naruto dies and other things.if the enemy killed naruto than they are stronger than kakashi and kabuto(even if he is a nerd he is cool and he is strong) put togather.

    oh kabuto is stronger than tsunade in shippuden because he absorbs the remains of orohimaru(which have his councice in them and possessing kabutos body until he regenerates) and he is stronger than oroshimaru and tsunade and jiraiya.they couldn't even beat orochimaru which is cheating because it is 2 against one.
    the thing i dont get if tsunade and jiraiya couldn't beat orochimaru but itachi could and kisame and itachi both said that jiraiya can beat thm both but jiraiya couldn't beat orochimaru i dont get that.if jiraiya can beat itachi and kisame and itachi can beat beat orochimaru but jiraiya can't.

    jiraiya is the strongest sanin i dont know who is second but jiraiya is first that is for sure.

    ShadowFlames, I was just saying. If we go to any other sites and there is a blog where we could comment for free (or if you don't mind paying, it is up to you) we should try to convince others to help us get Anko in the game. If we are lucky and we get many people to agree, then maybe the producers of the game would come across some of these sites and see how much we, the customers, want ANko. They want to sell their game, so they would do anything to please the customer. Maybe this could happen. Or maybe we could search for a way to e-mail the people in charge of the game and tell them. If we can't find that, then we could atleast e-mail Nintendo and hope they would pass our request forward to the producers. These are just ideas, but if you guys don't think they are good ones, or just don't mind either way if Anko is in or not, say so. I mean I would like to know your opinions.

    Oblivion, Jiraiya is probably the strongest Sanin. But what gets me is that he doesn't even do anything. He always lets his frogs do his fighting for him. The only real technique I have seen him use is the Rasengan. Does he do anything else besides that? Also, second strongest has to be Tsunade because what would Orochimaru do, lick her to death?
  • uhhhh i have to disagree with both of you (oblivion and eclipse) You have to remember that strength isnt just brute strength or the "strongest" techniques. Strength comes from many things. Such as tactics... Tsunade has proven in the past that she is not only strength and that she has a brain and wit for tactics. This is the reason why jiraiya wasnt chosen as the 5th hokage because he doesnt always use his head. of course he most definitley can hld up his own in a fight but in a pure tactical/wits battle he would be useless against tsunade.

    Well, Tsunade is good. You put up a good argument Temarii. But Jiraiya wasn't chosen as the 5th hokage because he refused the request. He actually suggested that Tsunade be the 5th. About Temari and Shikamaru, Temarii was just out-smarted by the slacker-clown, as she calls him. Shikamaru said he gave up because he didn't have enough chakra, but he also said that he already had his next 100 moves planned out. Who knows what those moves were, but he sure had something in mind. I don't deny that Temari has her skills, but like she said, the whole time she thought she was running away from his jutsu, she was actually walking straight into it the whole time.

    OMG!!! i just got metroid prime 3 yesterday and the game was the best it is the best game i played so far,even though i like mario better metroid prime 3 was sooooooooooooooo better than all the mario games.u all should get it it is awsome.

Ohh and i get what ur saying eclipse about temari and shikamaru.But once out of ur chakra thats it....and when ur abilities are long ranged then u absolutley stand no chance against someone like temari...Shikamaru noticed this flaw and quickly gave up before she won so that he wouldnt have to admit pure defeat to a girl lol...this is my theory...and its no problem oblivion. ohh and guys i truley dont think that shizune is gonna be in this game =( shes not even on the character roster on wikipedia
  • uhh yall i really think that characters like anko,kimmimaro,and most definitley the 5 sound ninja's are gonna be in this game ! if u think about it they were in con4 and this is the next one! soo... the meaning of revolution is a group of alot of people fighting for one thing... this should mean that the producers are putting us on the edge of our seats too sell more games thats why there is question marks and not X's on all the people that we really wants names ...For instance why not put characters like anko and kimmimaro they already have character designs from the previous games it wouldnt cost that much at all to add other characters and they stilll have plenty of time to add more games the game comes out October 23rd soo im pretty sure that were stressing over nothing!! ohh and also what characters do yal know that arent on the wikipedia roster? Lots of them. soo i fully believe that were gonna see characters that we really really want! its all a marketing hoax soo i say lets be calm and hope for the best instead of stressing over it =)
