Alpha Systems is good, and this game is taken by Namco Bandai as a main Tales games, Tempest wasn't taken that seriously and was outsourced for Studio Dimps.

My gut feeling tells me this will be good.

@ Chris

I wouldn't knock this game just because Team Destiny/Team Symphonia aren't behind it. Alfa Systems did a good job on developing ToR: Radiant Mythology sans the game's problems, so I'm sure they'll be handling things well in Tales of Innocence.

"It’s kind of lame to outsource your game development and slap your brand sticker on the result."

I agree...

I didn't realize the DS Tales games were neither developed by Team Destiny or Team Symphonia.

I had seen it before... but it really looks awesome for DS; I just have two queries:

1. the character designs, although better than some tales (*cough* tempest *cough*) are not that good, I wish they weren't so... young.

2. Voice acting; I know they're 13/15 year olds but still... they sure sound like it, and I wish they didn't.

Some Japanese RPG's really need a more adult touch these days.

Other than that... looks ace, I love the fact that it's the Symphonia/Abyss/Radiant Mythology system fitted in there, a sight to see; still, I hope the next "big" tales game is a home console one tough (and preferably for my platform of choice). This looks ace, but I really want to see a big Team Symphonia Project (this is from Alpha Systems)

Tales of the Tempest was nothing to write home about. It won't be hard to do better this time around.
