Yakuza 2 immigrating to North America?

This is far from the official confirmation like Sega of Europe sent out, but there is a fair chance Yakuza 2 will come out in North America too. Possibly in September. Gamestop and Gamefly updated their respective databases and Yakuza 2 is in both of them.

Gamestop is selling Yakuza 2 for only $29.99. At that price I can’t imagine Sega pulling in celebrities like Eliza Dushku, Rachael Leigh Cook and Mark Hamill to do the voices. This might not be a bad thing because Yakuza 2 would be fine with the original Japanese voiceovers and English subtitles.

I agree, and besides only true fans will buy Yakuza since the first one did so badly commercially. Which is ridiculous because it’s miles better than most 7th gen titles.

if they leave the original voices in, i’ll buy a copy for sure. i’ve got my fingers crossed.
