I just played the X Edge demo and although my Japanese is pretty much in the illiterate range, I got a pretty fair estimate of the game’s potential.

It’s fun. Lots of flashy, well-animated sprite work. I really hope the “crazy” rumor about this coming stateside is true! If not, you better believe I’ll finally get my hands dirty with the import scene.

I don’t have a PS3, but there doesn’t seem to be any problems deregistering and registering a PSP to different accounts. If you make it through the trouble to get a japanese account then install the Prinny demo, it will register the new account on the PSP and old DRM-enabled content will not run. Reinstalling anything from the previous account re-activates it, disables the Prinny demo and any content attached to that account will run just fine again.

I just got finished playing the X-edge demo, and OH MY GOD WOW. It is freakin’ awesome!!

I hope and pray they bring this to US cause it rocked my world.

Still waiting for the Prinny demo to finish… *makes popcorn* WHAT A NIGHT! Thank you Siliconera!

You’d still need to de-register your PSP from your North American (or Euro) account still and register it with your Japanese account. I’m scared to do this in case it deletes all my PS3-to-PSP content I already have on my PSP. I guess I’ll just have to look for the demo away from the PSN in order to play it.

I have no PSP to try out the Prinny demo

But Eternal Sonata for PS3 seems harder than the 360 version, and I still need to try out X-Edge. Good stuff, though!
