Mana Khemia: Student Alliance Studying Until Spring

By Spencer . January 21, 2009 . 2:00am

mkpsp The warning signs were right. Mana Khemia: Student Alliance won’t be in stores this January. NIS America is rescheduling Mana Khemia: Student Alliance for the spring. Between now and mid February extra time will be spent on improving the quality of the final game. Hopefully, this means NIS America will clean up the loading times or improve the jump start (read: partial install feature).

In the meantime there are other NIS America games to play like Ar Tonelico 2: Melody of Metafalica and Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero? which is still on track to come out in February.

  • Well the delay is put to good use. But it’s still rather depressing for those looking forward to it. I went ahead and just bought the PS2 version w/ OST back in Xmas anyways.

I’m glad Prinny is still on-course. PSP gamers can have fun with that for the time being. =/

    • Agreed. This is almost like someone else typed my comment for me =)

Yea I was looking forward to this being out this month, at least there’s Ar Tonelico 2 instead to pass the time with.

Ar Tonelico 2 doesn’t load on PS3, all I get is a blank screen after the PS2 logo (and I just finished P4) has anyone experienced this

    • I’ve got a 60GB launch and it loads fine, but I’ve heard none of the other models (except that ye olde 20GB model) load it.

People have also complained of corrupted save data — this happened to me twice, but it fixes itself the next time you save. Here’s my fix: wait for the Pippen to land after hatching from its egg on the save screen. Whenever I tried to save right away, it would say “save failed”; when I waited, it has worked 100% of the time.

Ok thanks I’ll verify it, I got the 80gb Metal Gear Console and it’s the only game I’m having pobs with

The error I get when trying to load the game save is “Could not complete the process”. The problem is, I can’t even get to the save menu, much less use it. When I start a new game to try and save a new file on the same internal memory card, I get the same error; I do not get the error when I switch to a different internal memory card in slot 1.
