I might actually watch this. I'm one of those that thought DB/DBZ were awesome at first but stretched on way beyond the acceptable length for a series.

But there's so much other stuff I need to watch this season…K-On, Desire, Valkyria Chronicles…finally picking up Gundam 00 as well. Oh, and as much as I don't want to, I probably will end up watching the new FMA. ><

So many series, so little time. And then there's games, too. And my job. And writing for SE… *explodes*

Yeah, they reassembled the original cast for Kai, except the few who passed away, like Roshi and Tenshinhan, the all new background music is going to take some getting used to.

I'm actually kinda looking forward to that Blue Dragon game on DS (not Plus, the multiplayer one). Other than that…yeah. Not a very big fan of Toriyama's art anymore. I honestly don't know how much I'll like Dragon Quest IX.

Also, they got the same voice actors for DB Kai? That's freaking awesome!

You mean Ral Grad drawn by the Death Note artist right? Yeah, I read all 4 of them, I thought they were pretty horrible just like the anime series.. even the art wasn't that good by his standard (he's drawing Bakuman now). I had a bad feeling about the game/manga/anime 3-pronged approach and it turned out to be disappointing.. the only thing I like about BD so far is the original 360 game and I hope they would make a true and improved console sequel soon. The only thing Toriyama-related that's worth of seeing now is probably the anime remake DB Kai. The first ep was okay.. VAs did a good job though despite the 20yr lapse (not counting the games)

Speaking of Blue Dragon, I hear the manga is actually pretty good. Have you had a chance to read it?

Speaking of game-turned manga/anime. Just saw the 1st ep of Valkyria Chronicles, the animation is passable, they did leave in a little bit of the canvas effect from the game. Well, I like to listen to Alicia since she's voiced by Inoue Marina (Shu in Blue Dragon game, Yoko from Gurren Lagann). I might want to pick up the manga too, but I still haven't finished the game yet…
