why not? it's the market leader by far; they should be focusing on that and if anything they should be doing way more than this.

And that said, you must not be aware of Atelier Rorona.

Really? For the Wii? Considering a considerable amount of the Atelier games are on playstation consoles and that both Ar Tonelico games are on PS2 is this really the console Gust should be going after?

This is certainly an interesting concept, and reminds me of back in the age of the PC-88 and PC-98 when companies would occasionally release software that was just sound tests for their most popular games.

You know I'm kind of torn about what the results will be if this sells well.

Will that just convince them to make a sequel to this of sorts, or will they actually make an RPG for Wii retail?

You never know what's going on with a company's plans when a casual game is their first game on a platform. :/
