A couple of interesting trademarks popped up in the European trademark database. Nintendo registered Oil Panic and Greenhouse — names of two classic Game & Watch games.
These could be protective trademarks, but Nintendo rarely file protective trademarks in Europe. Plus, DS versions of Oil Panic and Greenhouse exist on the Club Nintendo exclusive Game & Watch Collection cart.
Perhaps, Nintendo will dice up the Club Nintendo gift and sell it in pieces just like Electroplankton.
Other Game & Watch games that were adapted for the Nintendo DS include Donkey Kong, Octopus, and Parachute.
Would you buy any of these?
