Onechanbara Special on the PSP has five playable characters. You can play the game in multiplayer either locally with a friend or with a computer-controlled sidekick. D3 Publisher recently released a promo video that demonstrates the feature.

  • Japanese publishers seem to think the majority of PSP owners are perverts.

They might be right, but come on.

    • Uh oh. That spot is exclusively reserved for the 360 :3

I’d like to see this as a PSN/XBL title using a Diablo-esk game engine. Like Tomb Raider and the Guardian of the Light.

  • PrinceHeir

we need a proper sequel for this on consoles :)

    • I want you to stop repeating this in every post you comment on. :p

But it’s true. Every titel is going handheld. Businesswise it’s a correct decision, but from time to time there should be some “fanservice”.

Well i would think that it depends. Going hand held must make developing the game easier. But you probably won’t make enough money in the long run. Especially those games made on budget but are so well done that they garner a cult following. Obviously it was a different time then, but isn’t Disgaea such an example? Sorry, let me explain.. Disgeaea is a title that came out of nowhere and now has sales it would never have gotten on a handheld.

      • PrinceHeir

ehh you got me there. but there soo many portable games i would like to try on consoles. oh well you can’t have everything though ^^

you really monitor our comments huh Ishaan? XD

  • Hearing “colour me blood red” in english is kind of distrubing when the rest of it is in Japanese.

Yeah this is pretty much a game that should be thankful it has multiplayer as single player looks dull.
