This is one of the games I must have. All the time I hear something about it, I want it more and more and more…
    Love it. ^o^

  • Yui

I stress this in every Radiant Historia article – Shimomura’s soundtrack is unequivocally excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend purchasing it.

    • countupyoursins

That was what clinched it for me.

  • SolidusSnake

Everything about this game sounds solid so far… not surprising since Strange Journey + Persona + Tri-ace is probably the greatest thing imaginable in the history of mankind.

  • Saraneth

This looks pretty awesome. An interesting battle system is key for any rpg. I’ll be getting this.

  • PrinceHeir

    awesome :)

can anyone mention any games that have something to do with times and space? FFVIII comes into mind :D

      Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross.
      Edit: Dragon Quest VII

      • Zero_Destiny

I’ll Second this, the Chrono series is the best when it comes to space-time travel. :)

      • Zero_Destiny

Oh you spoiled Dragon Quest VII :( lol I guess it’s no biggie. While we’re at it I’ll list some too: EarthBound, Final Fantasy I (and it’s just as nonsensical as Final Fantasy VIII’s time-traveling :P), Zeldas; Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, and the Oracle games, Star Ocean I, Tales of Phantasia, Time Hollow, Vandal Hearts, Time Splitters games, and SaGa III. Just to name a few.

It’s not really a spoiler if it’s in the little summary on the back of the box. (I checked my 11-year old copy.)

          • Zero_Destiny

Yeah but I always felt that the box gave away too much info. Like the box for Symphonia revealing that there was 2 worlds. Anyways it’s no biggie (that’s why I even wrote that up top) lol Maybe I’m just weird. I’m sure anyone who googled info about the game would of probably figured that out. Now if you spoiled the part about how Orgodemir tries to thwart the party by … Ops don’t want to spoil that lol Dragon Quest VII brings back good memories. I SO have my fingers crossed for an enhanced 3DS port. I know it’s only a matter of time.

“Zeldas: Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, the Oracle games”…and Link to the FREAKIN’ Past!

          • Zero_Destiny

It’s been a while for Link to the Past (I haven’t played it since the GBA version came out in like 2002). But I don’t remember any time traveling what so ever. You travel between the real world and the dark world but I don’t remember any time travel. I thought it was a called a Link to the Past because it’s a prequel not because of time travel. Did I remember wrong? I’m pretty sure there’s no time traveling until Ocarina of time. But I guess link to the past would be a good example of parallel worlds kind of game.

          • deCarvalhoVitor

“can anyone mention any games that have something to do with times and space?”

It has no Time Travel at all, no.
But PrinceHeir asked for games that had something to do with Time and Space. And switching between the Light and Ddark World qualifies as space travel.

Ummm 999 could be on that list, depends in how you see it

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Tommy-Lee/518924335 Tommy Lee

I think it’s still too early to list that game.

    • Joanna

I’m late to the party, but I’ll add in another title anyway: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. And believe it or not, this pokemon spin-off is actually lots of fun (although I thought Pokemon Trading Card Game for GBC was really fun as well xD ).

      • PrinceHeir

        better late than never :P

  • Fonic

Trying to be frugal these days but this is one game I preordered. It just looks like it will hit all the right notes for me.

    • countupyoursins

Yes, especially with Yoko Shimomura composing.

    Did I just see Igor?

Awesome sounding game is awesome sounding. Day 1 without no doubt. Pretty much calling this my portable game of the year (including 3DS, NGP and iPhone/iPad titles).

  • Joanna

Looking forward to playing this when I finally find some time. I picked it up, but I’ve been too busy to actually try it myself. (I can’t believe I’m going to invest in another system with my next paycheck. Ah, well, at least I can boast that I have a nice collection of games! xD )

I hope the sales were at least decent. This game sounds and looks remarkably well made and it deserves to sell.
