UnchainBlades ReXX Has Retail Goodies, Too…And A New Trailer

By Ishaan . April 7, 2011 . 2:04pm

This June, FuRyu will publish UnchainBlades ReXX for the PSP and Nintendo 3DS, a first-person dungeon crawler starring a dragon emperor turned human. Today, they released a trailer for the game, which you can check about above.

They also revealed retail goodies with the usual fan-service. For example, Amazon are giving away a postcard set (left), while Animate have hand-drawn phone cards (right). More of these can be found at 4Gamer.

  • What’s the name of the new dude, I can only tell its something like Rushiasu…
Oh and nice goodies again!!~ I like how the different art styles clash so well in this game, looks really awesome! :D

    • That’s exactly it, surely will be pronounced like Roshiaou~ or something like that, with the i sounding like i of… pin o.o or miss

      • I see, the name sounds weird though…well we live in an anime industry here after all huh~ xD
        Thanks for the clarification. :P

    • Lucius.

      • Lucius would be more like ルシウス (rushiusu) but i guess we gotta wait until we hear someone calling his name -.-

        • … I fail. I’ve been pronouncing “Lucius” wrong ever since I first heard of that name. It’s Lucias then.

          • Oh, Lucias could do the trick :0

          • True, Lucias makes sense enough~ Thanks both of you. :D

  • TenRX

1st Person Dungeon Crawler… the one I remember was Arcana for SNES, something fresh like this will be very acclaimed when it comes out :)

    • Zero_Destiny

I highly suggest SMT: Strange Journey on the DS. Very good game. Really fun, with an amazing story that’s just crazy, and really perfected the First-Person crawl if you ask me. Plus it’s cheap now. I got mine for like $20 and it was brand new still with the plastic and the in-cased OST. ^_^

  • … It just occurred to me the dragon emperor and the phoenix princess are going to end up together. I realize should have realized this sooner.

  • Zero_Destiny

Now I don’t know how anyone can’t want this XD It looks great and the designs seem to match pretty well. I want to see this game so bad. Come on Nintendo you promised the 3DS will be RPG-ing it up don’t disappoint me ^_^

Well anyways I’ll put my begging aside and just state the graphics look pretty good and considering who’s behind this it’s a formula for greatness. XD Oh yeah and if I was in Japan and what not so going for the card on the right!!! hehehehehheheheheheheh

    • Let’s see… In the 4gamer link, I’d prefer the top 2, the left one in the second row, and the one on the very bottom.

      • Zero_Destiny

It’s all about the whole first row and the whole third row. Especially since the one on the right in the third row has a robot in it and hey robot, girls, now you got two things I love the most together. Oh and just for the extra ecchi the one lone card on the bottom. You know why it has to be added. XD heheheheheh

        • Oh, I definitely know why. XD Fufufufu

          • Zero_Destiny

  • DanteJones

Yay goodies! Wait, a game? PSHAAAAAW.

  • Aoshi00

I dunno, I’m more looking forward to Tales of the Last Promise.. So many different char designs here.. I was like “Uematsu for music!?” but he’s only doing the main theme.. I always like Mizuki Nana’s songs though :)… don’t think this would be my 2nd 3DS game…

  • Chippel

The character names get crazier as the video goes on. I hope it’s as good as it looks like it could be.

  • PrinceHeir

    ohh sexy postcards FTW :D

  • FTW , i …want. this game… also … who sings the main theme and what is called?

  • Exkaiser

Eh, except for the dungeon-crawling part, nothing here appeals to me.

Seems like I’ll pass on excitement for this one.

  • z_merquise

That red-haired chick for the Amazon’s postcard kind of reminds me of Dizzy from Guilty Gear except, well, she got red hair. And brown wings. And no tail. With cute, blushing face. And a sexy pose. And . . . oh, I said too much now.

  • Definitely up for some more 1st Persons dungeon crawling after Strange Journey was so brilliant. Being in 3D ought to really complement it, would LOVE a followup to SJ with better dungeon graphics and in 3D…
