This Week In Sales: Sales Dive Along With Steel Diver

Top-seller: Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 Professional – 20,722 | Total sales: 475,503

Nintendo 3DS sales: 18,324 | Total sales: 996,019

 

Golden Week is over and done with, so this week’s chart represents a bit of a cooldown period. Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 Professional remained at the top of the chart for another week, and was followed closely by The Reminiscences of Haruhi Suzumiya for the PlayStation 3 at #2.

 

Nintendo’s Steel Diver also saw its release, debuting at a modest 17,408 units, as did Doki Doki Suikoden, at a tiny 4,559 units. The full chart for the week is as follows:

     It has happened, the 3DS sales went under 20K, its new low, but near 1mln. Steel Diver wasnt enough to save it. I hope Nintendo has moved all key software up to earlier this year.
    Patapon 3 is still going, go!

    The Wii also had its lowest week ever, so I guess Nintendo isn’t having much luck in Japan right now.

    I still think the 3DS is eventually gonna become the biggest selling platform in weekly charts, though. It’s just too early now.

    Nice to see Donkey Kong hanging in there, looks like Retro’s found their next trilogy

    Really low numbers there. Though I’m glad that Tale of the Last Promise is still selling. 

    All listed 3DS games are from Nintendo. Even with their brand strength the numbers are still low. I hope third party developers will play it safe and make cross platform games like what Aksys  did with Blazblue CSII…
