Pac Man Gobbles Its Way To The 3DS Virtual Console

This week’s Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console release is Pac-Man for the Game Boy, originally released in 1990. The game costs $3.99.

Speaking of old games…if you happen to be a 3DS Ambassador and have a Club Nintendo account, make sure to link your 3DS system and Club Nintendo account before you download them.

Nintendo’s support site says you’ll earn Club Nintendo coins for your free Ambassador games if your system is linked to your account prior to downloading your free games.

Strange, because I haven’t got any play coins for downloading my Ambassador games, and my account has been linked since I first connected to the eShop.

Same here. Although I changed the username on my Club Nintendo account since I first linked it, I hope that didn’t effect anything.

I haven’t yet either. I suspect they’ll be added later or something. Gonna wait for a day or so and then maybe e-mail NOA after the weekend if nothing shows (although, I suspect someone else will have already done it by then).

I own this version of Pac-Man and I don’t really recommend it.  The zoomed out display sucks and the full maze display has small graphics.

ummmm all eshop downloads including free ones such as excite bike and pokedex take 7 days to register as 10 coin post play surveys, so wait a week before worrying

      Ah, that explains it. Thanks!
