Monster Hunter 3G Adds New Masks For Your Companions

In Monster Hunter Tri, you could outfit your companion, Cha-Cha, with different masks. Each mask would give Cha-Cha different abilities, but also change his personality. As previously reported, in addition to Cha-Cha, Monster Hunter 3G has a second companion named Kayamba. It also features three more masks:

Whetstone Mask: Use Kayamba to sharpen your weapon!

Negation Mask: You can signal to Kayamba to help remove status ailments such as resistance decreases.

 

 

Dung Mask: Kayamba gains the ability to toss Dung Bombs.

 

 

Cha-Cha and Kayamba also dance, which gives you (or them) ability or status boosts.
