Wow, that’s an impressive list. So, Siliconera, are you guys excited?

    • xavier axol

i also want to know their opinion, how will the wii u do this holiday in the u.s.? and what are they most excited about game for the launch? what do they think about the launch line up? about the price and what will the competitors do to counter the wiiu?

    • Speaking as a mod, I’ll be plenty happy if we can just get through this emotionally volatile period with as little ruckus as possible… -_-

      • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Lol, Bayonetta problem seems to have given you guys lots of headache there. Sorry for the problem we cause here.T_T

  • Captain_Jiruo

Nothing yet that sales me on buying the system at the current price unfortunately.  It kind of make me wish MH3U was exclusive so I would have an excuse to buy it.

    • PreyMantis

It is an exclusive… at least for Nintendo consoles.

  • idrawrobots

No ExciteBots U. No buy. Who am I kidding DAY ONE.

  • ronin4life

  • KingGunblader

Rayman Legends is enough for me. But to also have Mario, ZombiU, ME3, ACIII, The Wonderful 101, Trine 2, and TTT2… GAH $$$

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Just noticed Toki Tori 2. Going to get that one for sure and this is the new gameplay trailer.^_^

And new Nano Assault? In HD? Shin’en considered my money in your bank account there.^_^

Edit: Just noticed Nano Assault Trailer.^_^ Hope you guys enjoy them here.^_^

  • FitzpatrickPhillips

Whoa this list if absolutely massive compared to the japanese one.

    • Anime10121

Yeah, but the Japanese one gives more definitive release dates than a broad window of Nov-Mar (5 months).  Heck we could get like 5 games the first two months and then a crap load 1st quarter next year.  Wish they gave us more definitive lists in the US too, but oh well, Nintendo’s already gladly convinced me!

      • FitzpatrickPhillips

Hah, I can see that happening so easily.

  • Looking good.

  • MrRobbyM

Not a bad lineup. Not good enough to save up some money and buy one right away, but I can definitely see me picking one up in the future after more games are released and a decent price cut.

  • Really solid looking lineup. I think if Nintendo offers the Monster Hunter 3 Bundle (Announced in Japan) at Stateside launch, I’ll bite. :3 If nothing else, I’ll most definitely be needing a WiiU for the exclusive Bayonetta 2. ;D

  • As a collector, I can throw out an multiplatform games and digital downloads.  That’s %60 of the list right there.  I am only mildly interested in very few titles.  Nintendo Land, Game & Wario, and Pikmin 3.  No point for me in picking this thing up until the really interesting games start coming out.  And that probably won’t even be til next March when Pikmin 3 comes out and we here more about actual big Nintendo titles like 3D Mario, Metroid, etc. .

  • Natat

See Nintendo, now this is a strong release lineup. Looking good, looking good.

    •  Strong line up of ports yeah sure

      • Anime10121

Come on, I’m more a Playstation fan than anything, but this lineup is far more impressive than PS3, Vita’s, and 360’s launches (which all also had their fair share of ports).

  • Jeremy Barnes

Wow, a bunch of games I already played

    • Ace

      HAHAHA! Truth!

  • My wallet is yours, Nintendo.

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

    my wallet…..I’m sorry lol

  • not bad, Ninty…not bad…

  • Alexander Aubert

the only game up there that intrest me is only rabbids land

    • Testsubject909

Me, there’s 4 up there that immediately appeals to me, though none are immediate buys, and maybe two or three more out of those that are buffer games and thus very low priority and more likely non-purchases if I were to get a Wii U this year/early next year.

  • Anime10121

Wait, HOLD IT, The Wonderful 101 is coming out in the WiiU’s launch window?!?!?!?

Wasnt planning on having to get one so soon!  I was already gonna pick one up, but darn, if I wasnt planning on waiting a bit longer.  Oh well, the day tW101 drops is the day I buy my WiiU.  Hopefully Bayonetta wont be TWO (get it) far in the future!

Also thinking about getting Tekken, a series I havent’ been excited for in years, but DAT TRAILER :P

  • RaineNythra

A silly question, but the Wii-U is region locked, isn’t it? Also, have they said anything about trophies/achievements?

    • daizyujin

I can assure you it is.  Nintendo is probably the most adamant about region locking machines.  Hell after 20+ years of having region free handhelds they found some boneheaded reason to lock the DSi and 3DS and their consoles have ALWAYS had some form of lock be it digital or physical (or in some cases both).

I believe Reggie has said that there is no universal achievement system, which IMHO is a colossal mistake, particularly given how social they are trying to make the system.

  • daizyujin

On it’s own, the lineup is good.  Taken against what it’s competition already has, it is somewhere between lackluster and crap.

  • puchinri

Fair line-up~. Also, I can’t wait to see what other titles Shin’en will develop for the Wii U.
