The Witcher 3 Trailer Shows The Game’s Ambiguous Sense Of Morality

CD Projekt RED have shared a new trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, titled “Killing Monsters,” which seeks to showcase Geralt’s code of conduct and how he operates outside of the rest of the world’s sense of morality.

“Killing Monsters was a great opportunity to show the ambience of No Man’s Land—one of the vast areas in the game that the players will visit during their adventure,” says CD Projekt RED head Adam Badowski.

“The overwhelming feeling of despair can be quite shocking, especially when you consider who the real monster is.”

Well, this game continues to look better and better. There is no clear right or wrong choice to decide upon which makes you really think about the choices you make and the consequences….. well, as long as you don’t always side with the hot girl who offers sex lol. This game is going to be great!

Just about everything I’ve seen about this upcoming console generation has left me feeling a slight bit underwhelmed….until this! Those graphics are amazing!

You do realize that this trailer is an CGI right. The actual game looks awesome but not as detailed as this.

Stop ruining the moment! Nah, I know its all just pre-rendered cutscene, but the graphics still blow me away nonetheless.

Plot twist: It turns out to be actual gameplay.

(With any other company, I wouldn’t even consider the possibility)

… But that didn’t seem very morally ambiguous at all. Maybe if the woman had turned out to be some kind of flesh-eating creature that needs to eat people in order to survive, but this just seems like generic “bad ass rogue doesn’t play by societys oppresive RULES, MAN!”
