The Witcher 3 Trailer Gets A New Trailer With Impressive In-Game Graphics

CD Projekt Red have shared a new trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which they debuted at the VGX game awards this past weekend. The trailer features in-game footage from the upcoming RPG, showing off sections of its large open-world environments and glimpses of combat.

As previously reported, CD Projekt Red have some ambitious goals for The Witcher 3. One of these is to make the game’s open world 30 times larger than that of The Witcher 2. Each region in the game’s world will consist of its own population, complete with different cultures and stories.

Another promise CD Projekt Red have made is that the game will feature no quick-time events, and a non-linear story with an increased emphasis on player choices.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is in development for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Can someone enlighten me about which classical musical instrument starts playing at the 29 seconds mark? I haven’t heard that sound in ages (pretty sure I heard it last during music class in school)

Either a ‘zither’ or ‘sitar’ I believe. Probably the latter. (Could be a ‘setar’ as well I guess. Honestly there’s a lot of stringed instruments in the persian/indian/hindu family of stringed instruments that could fit.)

This game is going to kick a whole lot of ass and I’m going to undoubtedly love it. Can’t wait to sink my teeth into another delicious witcher installment. It’s going to be balls to the walls awesome!

This game is going to be amazing. Im really hyped for it because basically CD projekt already stated how big the world is going to be and how many different storyliones and sidequest progress is going to have. It’s like my dreamed open RPG.

    OK… it looks AMAZING.

Just about every major publisher is touting massive open worlds, but I am most confident in CDProject Red’s projects. They are not trying to fit their games on the PS3 and 360 for the sake of increased sales.

Gosh, everything about it looks amazing. Especially the lighting and fire. Oh my gawd.

I simply have little time to play play every one of them :(
