Deep Down Gets A New Trailer In Celebration Of Japan’s PS4 Launch

By Ishaan . February 21, 2014 . 8:30am

Capcom have shared a new trailer for their free-to-play PlayStation 4 RPG, deep down, ahead of Japan’s PS4 launch tomorrow. Note, however, that deep down isn’t a PlayStation 4 launch game, and that it doesn’t have a release date yet.

deep down runs on Capcom’s new “Panta Rhei” engine, which will be used to develop the company’s next-generation games across, PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The engine is being developed in parallel with deep down, which will be the first game to use it.

Showing the mimic in the trailer just ruined it.

if they didn’t do it someone else would have uploaded the video of the game play of it, after launch.

Trailer? How about a launch window already?

Somewhat disappointed you can’t select a female avatar. I realize heavy armor makes sex irrelevant…but for a game like this, the availability of options are important. :/

i still have high hopes from this game

I want to like it but I need to see how it plays first.
Give me a solid gameplay video that isnt someone stumbling around afew corridors.

I can almost believe in the animation because Capcom nailed the animation in stuff like Dragon’s Dogma. Now I want to see if the ingame visuals look anything like that with actual player input as well.

Deep Down 2.22 You can (not) get hyped

Hm, wouldn’t playing this game on PC be better since we don’t have to pay for psn online subscription?

    • 9breaker

Not to sound rude but then any online game would be better without the psn subscription.

      • EtherealEarth

Ah, I now get your point.
My question was poorly asked, sorry about that ><

        • 9breaker

Nah, it’s fine. A question is a question.

deep down is free to play. you don’t need ps+ for f2p games
