Texas based Pi Studios worked on Rock Band and Call of Duty ports, but were also developing new games for Activision like the unreleased Sing Hero and completed Bomberman Live: Battlefest for Hudson.

Following the Konami takeover, many Hudson projects including Omega Five, Bomberman, and Bonk for the Nintendo 3DS were canceled.

We sat down with Peter Dassenko, Producer, to talk about Bonk’s evolution in Bonk: Brink of Extinction.

Bonk’s revival was originally planned as a boxed title for Wii and then Nintendo DS.

Hudson isn’t just reviving Military Madness, their hardheaded hero is coming back with a 3D game too. Bonk: Brink of Extinction is being made by first person shooter vets Pi Studios.
