Atlus introduced four supporting characters in Shin Megami Tensei IV. In addition to the Convent characters, they also introduced a bartender that gives players challenge quests, and an AI operating system character installed in your Gauntlet.

Shin Megami Tensei IV uses the press turn system from Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, but instead of 3D models monsters are 2D art. Atlus animated the monsters and they kind of have the feel of Live2D art from adventure games.

Remember the mini art book and sound collection combo Atlus gave away as a bonus for getting Catherine at launch? Shin Megami Tensei IV is getting a similar bonus.
