Sega and the trio trademark ritual

Recommended Videos

Sega has been exploring their roots a new version of Samba de Amigo and placating the hardcore by releasing Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer. Meanwhile they’re cooking something else behind closed doors. Recently, they trademarked “The Ritualist”, “Bayonetta” and “Mad World” all of which are applicable for video game software. These might not be new games, although the Ritualist sure sounds like a title. They could be subtitles for existing franchises take the extremely unlikely example of Skies of Arcadia: Mad World. It fits, but don’t get your hopes up.

These trademarks may also be related to the Crucible: Evil Within, which we haven’t heard much about other than it exists or Alpha Protocol. They may never even be used for North America like Shining Wind, which was only released in Japan.

Guesses? Post them in the comments.
