God Eater Sequel Simmering Inside Namco Bandai

God Eater was one of Namco Bandai’s bestselling games. PSP owners ate up 600,000 copies in just fifty days. The game continues to sell and Namco Bandai hopes to turn God Eater into a worldwide franchise.

Actually, they already have future plans. Shukuo Ishikawa, CEO of Namco Bandai, mentioned plans for overseas development and “number two” in a presentation to investors.

 

D3 Publisher will release God Eater in North America this fall. A European release is slated for 2011 with Namco Bandai handling publishing duties.
