Today, Square Enix released an original Taito game titled Groove Coaster on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Groove Coaster is designed by Reisuke Ishida, the creator of Space Invaders: Infinity Gene. Here’s a teaser video of the game; make sure to listen to it with the audio turned on:
In Groove Coaster, you speeding along a 3D rollercoaster track. It’s a game with a focus on sound, and you have time taps, flicks and swipes with approaching targets to create audiovisual effects.
Square say the game’s soundtrack covers a wide range of music, from from rock and pop to hip-hop and techno. You can view the list of songs here.
If you download the game off iTunes before August 7th, you can grab it for $0.99. After August 7th, it’ll cost $2.99.
