We missed these earlier in the week. Along with the field exploration and videos of the main characters, Atlus also shared videos of the Black Samurai and other supporting characters in Shin Megami Tensei IV, like Tayama and Kaga, on the game’s website. Take a look at them below:
For some reason, the Black Samurai appears to have knowledge of both Mikado of the East as well as Tokyo, the two settings in which Shin Megami Tensei IV takes place. She shows up in front of the main character every now and again, speaking in riddles containing clues for him.
Meanwhile, Tayama is known for negotiating with demons in order to maintain order around Tokyo, while Kaga prefers to exterminate them instead, being opposed to Tayama’s methods. The two are part of different factions.
Shin Megami Tensei IV will be released on May 23rd in Japan.
