Bethesda Softworks have shared a gameplay video of The Evil Within, the next survival horror game being directed by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami.
The gameplay footage picks up after the game’s protagonist, Detective Sebastien Castellanos and his his partner are summoned to investigate a crime scene. Shortly thereafter, Castellanos witnesses a seemingly supernatural entity kill his team of officers and is knocked unconscious. The footage begins with him waking up.
The Evil Within is in development for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The game will be released in 2014.
