Youkai Watch Anime Airs On January 8th

The Youkai Watch anime has an air date in Japan. The anime series will begin airing on Wednesday, January 8th, 2014 on TV Tokyo. Prior to the anime, a manga series based on the game will begin serializing in Shogakukan’s Ciao magazine next month.

Since its debut in Japan, the Youkai Watch game has gone on to sell over 200,000 copies. Level 5 are already at work on new game in the series, although they haven’t specified if this is going to be an entirely new title or not.
