As previously reported, Pokémon Bank is a paid cloud service that will allow you to store Pokémon from Pokémonk X and Y on boxes hosted on Internet servers. Meanwhile, Poké Transporter will allow you to transfer Pokémon from Pokémon Black/White or Black/White 2 into the newer games or to Pokémon Bank.

Downloading and using the application before March 14th, 2014 will allow to to try the Pokémon Bank service out fore free for 30 days.

Additionally, downloading and using Pokémon Bank will also unlock special events in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. You can find more information on the service here.

While Pokémon Bank is now live in Europe, the service isn’t available in the U.S. yet. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for information on a U.S. release, and update as necessary.
