Nintendo and developer Niantic Labs has released Pokémon GO for Android and iOS in select countries, starting with Australia, New Zealand, and other regions worldwide.

Players in Australia, New Zealand, and other regions have been able to download the smartphone game, but Niantic Asia’s marketing manager made a statement asking those in Japan to wait just a little longer.

Takashi Mochizuki of The Wall Street Journal also mentioned that the Pokémon Company asks both U.S. and Japanese customers to “please wait for a while” for the formal launch of Pokémon GO.

In any case, if you’re curious to see whether the game is available for you now, you can check it out here for Android and here for iOS. If waiting for a formal announcement isn’t your thing, the folks at NeoGAF uploaded the game’s APK that you can check out for yourself here.
