Yes, There Will Be Shenmue III Forklift Driving Opportunities

The official Shenmue III Twitter account has revealed the return of a classic series element. Ryo will once again get behind the wheel of a forklift.

The exact nature of Shenmue III forklift activities have not been revealed. The screenshot shows Ryo driving one in a factory.

It could be that this will once again be a job for Ryo. In the original Shenmue, Ryo could drive one as part of a job at the New Yorosuka Harbor District while trying to get close to the Mad Angels. This even meant getting to take part in forklift races. In both Shenmue and Shenmue II, he could collect forklift capsule toys.

Shenmue III will come to the PlayStation 4 and PC on August 27, 2019.
