Sega Mega Drive Mini’s Next 10 Games Include Landstalker, Dyna Brothers 2: Sega Channel Special

Famitsu has revealed the next batch of ten games that will be appearing on Sega’s Mega Drive Mini in Japan. The list, which was also shared one-by-one on Twitter, covers multiple genres and special releases. For example, the open-world adventure game Landstalker appears. So does Dyna Brothers 2: Sega Channel Special, a version of the game that originally appeared via the Sega Channel subscription service and included an extra story segment and didn’t require passwords to access certain elements.

 

Here is the full list of the ten additional games revealed for the Sega Mega Drive Mini in Japan.

 

  • Contra Hard Corps
  • Dyna Brothers 2: Sega Channel Special
  • Game no Kanzume Otokuyo
  • The Hybrid Front
  • Landstalker
  • MUSHA
  • Streets of Rage 2
  • Super Fantasy Zone
  • Thunder Force III
  • World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck

 

For those unfamiliar, Game no Kanzume Otokuyo was a Sega Channel title that included Sega Game Toshokan games from Game no Kanzume Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. Some of the titles in it include Flicky, Paddle Fighter, and Teddy Boy Blue.

 

As a reminder, these are the games that were already confirmed for the Mega Drive Mini in Japan.

  • Comix Zone
  • Gunstar Heroes
  • Madou Monogatari I
  • Powerball
  • Puyo Puyo Tsu
  • Rent-a-Hero
  • Shining Force
  • Sonic the Hedgehog II
  • Space Harrier II

 

The Sega Genesis Mini/Mega Drive Mini will be released on September 19, 2019 worldwide.
